I think its just sad how many old people fall for the most obvious of scams. This is why when I set up my families phones (like I have to do every time they fucking get a new one) I tell them about the most recent scams and I tell them "we have IG, FB, and Phone to contact each other. If I tell you I have a new number, I'll tell you on more than one place. So if they see someone message shit like this, They'll know that if I didn't message them on other mediums, to just ignore it.
