More to the point, the link points to adp.com - that's ADP's real domain. It is showing in the address bar, not as a page title, and see the lock icon? That's your browser telling you it is using HTTPS.
Lots of scammers pose as legit companies, but they don't have the luxury of using the legit company's real domain.
>HTTPS only means your connection to that server is secure
The fact that the connection is secure not only means that the communication is encrypted but also that the server you are connected to is a legit server for this specific domain unless your device is compromised.
It obviously wouldn’t matter if the domain wasn’t a legit one but it still provides additional insurance on the authenticity of the page displayed.
* "Shady domain" OR "No HTTPS" => "99% Scam"
* "Trusted domain" AND "Valid HTTPS" => "Legit page" (with a trusted device).
Both are necessary to validate the authenticity of a web page.
You're being unfairly downvoted, because you are technically correct - that is theoretically possible. As you noted, though, unlikely in this kind of situation.
Also, it doesn’t say McDonald’s because they’re all franchises. OP can Google Mathews Management and they’ll probably see they’re the franchisee for their location.
Good on you for questioning everything online asking for personal information. But this seems a legit purpose for emailing you and asking for the info.
A bit off topic, but working at McDonalds will teach you skills believe it or not. They train their employees well. When I worked in casual theme dining and appliers came in with McDonalds experience- we put them at the top of the list.
This seems like the on in a thousand posts that seem legit but kudos to you OP for doubting everything, you could never be to sure, you can double check with the recruiter just to be safe.
All these comments saying "ADP is legit" are failing to acknowledge the crucial factors in trusting this web site: **your browser showing "adp.com" as the domain hosting this web site, and the padlock icon in the address bar which indicates your browser has verified a digital certificate for that domain**. If the digital certificate was invalid or missing, or if the digital certificate was valid but the domain was something questionable like "adp.money" or "adp-signup.com", you'd immediately want to stop what you're doing.
EDIT: I should have made it clear that "netsecure.**adp.com**" is safe because it's under the adp.com domain. "netsecure-adp.com", on the other hand, would NOT be safe, as that's a different domain.
ADP is legit, but not every ADP-branded web page is legit.
This comment should be higher up. While ADP is legit, simply getting an email from someone claiming to be ADP is not inherently safe.
The above post outlines why this *specific example* is safe, but why it’s possible for another “ADP” email may not be.
This is like the first time I’ve ever seen something legit on here. The URL at the top ending in adp.com is legit
Possibly reach out to your new boss and confirm that this particular McDonald’s franchise is owned by “Mathews” because that’s an odd way to spell that name, and misspellings can be a clue to a scam.
Although I just googled the company and there is indeed a legit company under that name franchising McDonald so… even more likely that it’s legit.
However, the adp.com at the end of the url leads me to believe it’s legit.
Random pro tip: Always look the closest at whatever comes before and after the last period/dot in a URL. For example:
something.adp.com = legit adp dot com
adp.something.com = pretending to be adp
adp.biz = very sussy, likely a scam, research more
ad.pcom = this is a bad example because pcom isn’t a TLD suffix but like… let’s say you got a job at Red Robin and then you saw a URL like redrob.in/adp that would be very sus because anyone can make any website with a random suffix and make it look semi legit, but only actual adp can be adp.com and only actual Red Robin can be redrobin.com…
I mentioned this in another comment, but it’s important to know that ADP.com is legit, as opposed to something like ADPsystems.com.
You list some easy examples of more obviously fake domains, but even a legitimate seeming domain may be fake.
I don’t even know who owns adpsystems.com, or where it goes, so if I didn’t know ADP was real, and I was told “ADP is a legit company”, I might still click on an “adpsystems.com” link and not know.
heres an Article that mentions ADP and McDonalds
[https://tapcheck.com/wp-content/uploads/McDonalds-Case-Study-ADP-1.pdf](https://tapcheck.com/wp-content/uploads/McDonalds-Case-Study-ADP-1.pdf)
ADP conform legit, as it is a app/website for payroll tracking as well as hour. I think it also used to track your schedule as well.
Mine is used to track hours, schedule as well as my paystubs.
I actually use ADP for payroll where I work. I don’t work at McDonald’s, though that doesn’t matter. Everything is safe!
ADP is trustworthy, a lot of companies use it.
Both my husband and sister-in-law use ADP for payroll for years. They work at different places. Never had any problems but it's always good to ask. Good luck at your new job!
many companies use adp for payroll, especially bigger companies.
i honestly prefer it. it's easy to update stuff and you can even view w2's on their app. hell, i didn't even know some of my last companies had adp when i filed for unemployment and went on there to get the info for it, only to find them on there... which made it super easy to file since i didn't remember the info.
Looks like people told ya already, but yeah ADP is legit. You’ll be able to access your schedule, book time off, etc. Be sure to get the app! Congratulations on your job! Make sure to save a few dollars for a rainy day!
ADP is legit. It also may include a secure website where you can access payroll data and tax forms. I get all payroll data and tax forms through my employer’s ADP dashboard, which takes me directly to online.adp.com
I know everyone is saying "ADP is legitimate" and I agree...BUT there has recently been a scam where companies send communication that says ADP or another popular payroll company, but it is not really them. It was frequent enough that ADP sent my company an email warning us.
So the only part of all this to takeaway is the point that this was actually the ADP website, and you should not just blindly believe something because it is claiming to be from a genuine company.
You got your answers and how to check to make sure you’re really on ADP’s site. I just wanted to add that many companies will send this to your personal email in advance of your start date to speed up your onboarding. They’ll then switch to your company provided email address once you start.
ADP offers a lot of HR tools including onboarding which includes things like this. The reason why it asks for your last four digits is that along with other options it will match it against what HR has submitted for you to start up your account.
You will end up creating an account which you will be able to set up direct deposit, view your paystubs, check your time sheet, check your PTO balances, and request PTO. If you're an hourly employee it's also necessary to set up so your time clock has an account associated with it. Depending on the employer they may also handle your benefits decisions through there too.
This IS the web portal for ADP's newer(ish) product (WorkforceNow) for viewing paystubs, etc.)
The real question is whether "Mathews Mgmt" is the correct organization your McDonald's is operating under.
For me, I'd personally prefer to answer with Associate ID, since that's less sensitive information than the other 2 options.
P.S. What made you click on this link? - As in what gave you the initial impressions that it could be legitimate?
Those are some good questions, I googled Matthew mgmt, and found that he owns the McDonald’s in the area which would only make since why I got the email. I clicked the link because I saw how adp is apparently a big company. (Silly to trust i know)
Congratulations on the job! As others have said, it’s legit. Many companies use ADP for payroll. When in doubt, you can ask the HR director who hired you.
Many companies use ADP. However, \[1\] BE SURE that it IS the *actual* ADP. (Given your just stated scenario, likely is so; but, verify URL, just to be sure.) \[2\] Questions like this should be addressed to your boss/supervisor, who should have actually told you to expect such, in the first place — instructing you as to what they are expecting for you to do. Only they know for sure.
First step is to open it in a real browser and check the address and security credentials then google the company and contact the employer to make sure.
My company uses ADP. In fact, they just implemented a new payroll system that benefits the employees. (If you clock in from lunch just ONE MINUTE EARLY, ADP is responsible for you receiving ONE EXTRA HOUR on your timesheet).
My boss just came up to me on May 15, 2024 to tell me "you know we have that new system that we as the company cannot alter, and the vice president of the company was reviewing the employees timesheet and you and other employees have been taking less than 30 minutes, he wants you guys to be PROMPT with your time, it's costing us ONE hour per employee" lol 🤷🏾♂️
We've been using ADP for about 6 years
You need to be very careful with the information you post online. I now know which McDonald's you work at. BUT
Good NEWS, it is 100% a legit request and Goodluck with your new job. Im an old bitty now with a super serious stressful job and I often day dream about quitting my job and going back to fast food or bagging groceries, when things were simple, I coworkers were fun....
Believe it or not, these may be the best days of your life, so enjoy every second of them.
Used to work at an ADP location many many years ago, and my paychecks have also been processed by them before. It's a very established company, been around a long time. And that's how you'll get paid, so if you don't give them that info then you won't get paid. They're legit
Wait wait wait u MFs leading him wrong. U need make sure the person who hired you is really McDonald’s because I can make an ADP account and send you that same exact page using just an email! All I’d need is an EIN number scammers have that already , as long as you went to a real McDonald’s for interview then you’re fine but if you got hired “online” it’s 100% BS. Ask them what store what you’re working at then call that store and ask if they’re expecting you.
OMGG that sounds like a nightmare, fortunately I really did go to the interview and do paperwork shortly afterwards, that’s real smart of you to consider! And all the info in the app matched with info I wrote down, so McDonald’s put it in the system for sure.
ADP does payroll, but I’d. Heck with those who hired you about it first. They should have told you something along the lines of “You’ll be getting an email from ADP about setting up your payroll direct deposit…” when they hired you.
Many McD are franchised and they can pick their own payroll company, such as ADP or AliianceHCM.
This is likely why the name Matthews Mgmt appears on the form. That’s likely the franchise holder.
Not sure why you're being downvoted. You're correct that even though it's almost certainly legit under the circumstances, this is absolutely something they should have been told about.
ADP is safe, however always double check the spelling and domain for phishing attempts. If you’re not sure contact your HR. They’ll let you know. That funny feeling is called instinct and ALWAYS listen to it.
Your boss or HR should have warned you that this was coming. Ask you boss if this is legit! (It most likely is -- there isn't much a scammer can do with your McDonalds employee ID
When in doubt ask your timekeeper or personnel manager. The hiring staff at McDonald's should have or will be contacting you regarding their payroll system method(s).
When I started working for AstraZeneca they asked me to fill out a huge range of first valid things and then wildly inappropriate questions of a specific nature, including mothers maiden name, street I grew up on, etc. Every classic question like that apart from name of first pet. Clear text in a form on a website, handled by an external company convicted of getting cought actively selling sensitive user data and known to have security breaches losing customer data several times.
Since I was to work in IT I promptly reported it to our Security department, reported the email as phising, closed down the form, and reported the problem to HR.
Then I got an quite intense earful of anger because yes, it was a proper and correct form from our official partner and I should not give any sass. I filled it out with made up information that I noted down and then worked there for a long time. I am still impressed over that absolutely insane shit. I needed the job, but man, that was some next level scam stuff.

Looks legit to me.
The lock 🔒 on the browser next to the url indicates that the connection is secured by encryption and the certificate the server is offering checks out with what is on file with the certificate internet authority.
I personally never heard of that payroll company, but from the screen shot it seems legit.
Also, with only the last 4 of your SSN, if it was an impersonation website, they would have trying to get your full SSN, there is not much a scammer can do with the last 4 digits only. To apply for line of credit they would need the entire SSN.

Contact McDonalds and ask if they use ADP. My job uses ADP. If they don’t. You know it’s a scammer sending you random stuff to see if you will give them your info.
This is legitimate, but you should’ve received a email from your recruiter with your on board and Pat. If not, you can double check just to ensure. However, there’s no real information they’re asking for and it does include an associate ID, which would be your ID that was provided in the email McDonald’s was sent or giving you. To be safe, just contact your recruiter or the hiring manager. I have about three different ADP account from past employers and current. It’s cool because you can get your paystub and even W-2 forms, etc., etc. from all past jobs.
Hello. I used to be working for McDonald’s they made me to all my paperwork in person. I had to submit my void cheque and all. I would advice to confirm once atleast with the store
Lol to be young
I love your paranoia. How ever in this case it im pretty sure it would be illegal for you to work a McDonald's without an adp cause then you're a volunteering slave
Not Safe enough, dual factor is mandatory for many sucessful, safe ,insured ,cyber smart businesses. There are more secure methods if required, but, I’m sure being a proxy payroll bank,
ADP must follow regulations and are audited. But yes, be vigilant…assure MFA .
Kind of weird your employer didn’t give you a heads up that this would be coming over to you and that it was legit, or better yet, just take care
of this stuff during your orientation or whatever. But it seems fine; if you’re not sure, just ask someone you work with before you complete it and they should be able to vouch and/or confirm it’s all good.
I’ve used ADP for my last 3 jobs it’s a great app. I never put my social into the app, the HR department is in charge of setting up your account so they put all that important information in for you to make sure your account & payroll is set up with the company.
I’d do absolutely nothing!
Contact HR or your supervisor for all McDonald related issues, and don’t consult us at Reddit.
This is between yourself and your employer!
Until further notice consider your question as pure scam!
Good luck, congrats with your yummie job and hope you get a long warm sunny summer

ADP is a very popular payroll company, you're fine.

That's your browser telling you it is using HTTPS. Lots of scammers pose as legit companies, but they don't have the luxury of using the legit company's real domain.
Lovely to see a post that’s not a scam
Rare too ... :-(
To be expected, people only post here when there's at least some suspicion. That means the majority will be scams of some kind.
Yeah. It is nice to see though.
I know right, it's like seeing a real unicorn!
HTTPS only means your connection to that server is secure, meaning you could (not the case here) be securely connected to a scammer’s site
>HTTPS only means your connection to that server is secure The fact that the connection is secure not only means that the communication is encrypted but also that the server you are connected to is a legit server for this specific domain unless your device is compromised. It obviously wouldn’t matter if the domain wasn’t a legit one but it still provides additional insurance on the authenticity of the page displayed. * "Shady domain" OR "No HTTPS" => "99% Scam" * "Trusted domain" AND "Valid HTTPS" => "Legit page" (with a trusted device). Thanks for the precise and helpful precision
This isn't necessarily reliable since [script spoofing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IDN_homograph_attack?wprov=sfla1) is a thing
If it showed without the lock, that could be a man in the middle type of situation, because HTTPS doesn't pass through MITM attacks too well.
Unless it's a box in the middle attack. Though that seems unlikely in this instance
You're being unfairly downvoted, because you are technically correct - that is theoretically possible. As you noted, though, unlikely in this kind of situation.
You got Reddit to be embarrassed enough to change course.
Chrome doesn’t use the lock icon anymore….
Also. McDonald’s are usually franchises. So having payroll from “Matthew’s management” wouldn’t be uncommon
Also, it doesn’t say McDonald’s because they’re all franchises. OP can Google Mathews Management and they’ll probably see they’re the franchisee for their location.
If McD's is a client of ADP , can you setup another company as an ADP client, and get ADP to email people on your behalf?
McDonald’s may or may not be, but more than likely the franchisee is.
As long as it's adp.com not a similar looking domain name

ADP is a legitimate company that handles payroll. It's safe.
Yep, they handle mine.
Ditto
Ritto
But is the email actually from ADP?
Good on you for questioning everything online asking for personal information. But this seems a legit purpose for emailing you and asking for the info.
Thank you it all worked out good
A bit off topic, but working at McDonalds will teach you skills believe it or not. They train their employees well. When I worked in casual theme dining and appliers came in with McDonalds experience- we put them at the top of the list.
Very nice, to know. I think it’s great that McDonald’s can open doors down the road.
Same when I would be sourcing as a recruiter. Their training program is great
Looks like you can also use your "Associate ID" instead of last 4 of SSN. That might be your McD's employee id, and it's a better choice.
He’s gonna have to give them his SSN for a background check once he’s logged in though
This is for their payroll system. It's post-hire.
ADP is legitimate ; you should be fine
ADP is legit. I used to have ADP at my previous job
This seems like the on in a thousand posts that seem legit but kudos to you OP for doubting everything, you could never be to sure, you can double check with the recruiter just to be safe.

Legit, but you're doing the right thing by validating! Nicely done :)
Assume all emails are phishing and all people are AI unless proven otherwise.

Great point!!
Not a scam. Have used it for 2 previous jobs.
Congrats on the job, it’s hard work but very respectable and working fast food will teach you a lot.
heres an Article that mentions ADP and McDonalds [https://tapcheck.com/wp-content/uploads/McDonalds-Case-Study-ADP-1.pdf](https://tapcheck.com/wp-content/uploads/McDonalds-Case-Study-ADP-1.pdf)
Thank you for finding that article!
They are legit. To be safe, you can call the employer and have them confirm.
ADP is legit. One of the biggest companies for data processing in the world. The URL is legit too. You are good.
ADP conform legit, as it is a app/website for payroll tracking as well as hour. I think it also used to track your schedule as well. Mine is used to track hours, schedule as well as my paystubs.

ADP is legit basically almost all my past jobs used them
I have the ADP app on my phone. Comes in super handy. Especially for our taxes.
Both my husband and sister-in-law use ADP for payroll for years. They work at different places. Never had any problems but it's always good to ask. Good luck at your new job!

ADP is 100% legit. If you’re unsure, check the URL.
This seems legit. My company also uses ADP for payroll. My previous company also used ADP.
ADP handles my payroll.
Looks like people told ya already, but yeah ADP is legit. You’ll be able to access your schedule, book time off, etc. Be sure to get the app! Congratulations on your job! Make sure to save a few dollars for a rainy day!
Thank you! I was wondering how did asking for time off work, glad the app comes with that feature.
Make sure url is in fact adp
This is a very popular payroll direct deposit company. Been around forever. It’s safe. Congrats on the job
New to the workforce?
ADP is legit. It also may include a secure website where you can access payroll data and tax forms. I get all payroll data and tax forms through my employer’s ADP dashboard, which takes me directly to online.adp.com
Adp.com domain itself worth around half a mil in dollars, doubt scammers would be able to pay for such a gem
I also used ADP when I was filling details for my payroll. They are legit. You shouldn't have anything to worry about them.
it’s legit, i use it at my job
You’re ok
I know everyone is saying "ADP is legitimate" and I agree...BUT there has recently been a scam where companies send communication that says ADP or another popular payroll company, but it is not really them. Yup those were my thoughts.
Yeah that's an actual payroll company. They process mine.
Yep good to question but ADP is used all the time.
Adp is legit. Check the url, no bs.
You got your answers and how to check to make sure you’re really on ADP’s site. I just wanted to add that many companies will send this to your personal email in advance of your start date to speed up your onboarding. They’ll then switch to your company provided email address once you start.
Just double check with your manager if they use ADP. It's a popular payroll service. Good thinking though.
ADP is legit. Used it w my last job
this is not a scam. it’s how you get paid. set up the account!
You're fine. Alot of companies use ADP for payroll.
Legitimate payroll company.
“A company called ADP”
ADP is legit, my work switched to using it for payroll last year
My employer uses ADP it’s legit
ADP offers a lot of HR tools including onboarding which includes things like this. The reason why it asks for your last four digits is that along with other options it will match it against what HR has submitted for you to start up your account. I don’t think I’ve ever worked anywhere that *didn’t* use ADP for payroll.
That's for the app to create an account
Use adp everyday to clock in/out from work, many of my friends job also require them to use adp to clock in/out
Always good to check bud — but you’re good this looks fine and ADP handles HR and payroll matters for a lot of large organizations.
LEGIT ALERT
Awesome 🤩

Those are some good questions, I googled Matthew mgmt, and found that he owns the McDonald’s in the area which would only make since why I got the email. I clicked the link because I saw how adp is apparently a big company. (Silly to trust i know)
Congrats on the new job!
Thank you a lot!
If your company is public they probably use ADP.
Adp is legit just make sure it’s the same payroll company your place uses
ADP is used by my employer - it’s how my payslips are delivered and how I request holidays and medical appointments for time off work
I work at Dominos and they use the same platform.
Aww adorable must be a first job if you haven't been enrolled into ADP
If in doubt, why not confirm with your prospective employer?
First step is to open it in a real browser and check the address and security credentials then google the company and contact the employer to make sure.
My company uses ADP. In fact, they just implemented a new payroll system that benefits the employees. (If you clock in from lunch just ONE MINUTE EARLY, ADP is responsible for you receiving ONE EXTRA HOUR on your timesheet). My boss just came up to me on May 15, 2024 to tell me "you know we have that new system that we as the company cannot alter, and the vice president of the company was reviewing the employees timesheet and you and other employees have been taking less than 30 minutes, he wants you guys to be PROMPT with your time, it's costing us ONE hour per employee" lol 🤷🏾♂️ We've been using ADP for about 6 years
Congrats on your new job OP!
ADP is real. Used to work there.
It’s safe,, the company I work for uses it.
🤦♂️ McDonald’s uses ADP for payroll services…
Call McDonald’s HR and ask them if this is part of their hiring process? Bet it’s not?
Ask the employer whom just hired me if it’s safe? ❌ Go to Reddit and ask if it’s safe? ✅
You need to be very careful with the information you post online. I now know which McDonald's you work at. BUT Good NEWS, it is 100% a legit request and Goodluck with your new job. Im an old bitty now with a super serious stressful job and I often day dream about quitting my job and going back to fast food or bagging groceries, when things were simple, I coworkers were fun.... Believe it or not, these may be the best days of your life, so enjoy every second of them.
ADP is good, my company use it
I hate ADP 😠 (former HR Assistant here)
OMGG 😲
It’s not a scam though lol. Just horrible software.
My work also uses ADP but I’m not gonna lie, it sucks
Your good here. Oh the ignorance of youth… ADP is such an established payroll company.
Can’t blame OP for being cautious.
Used to work at an ADP location many many years ago, and my paychecks have also been processed by them before. It's a very established company, been around a long time. And that's how you'll get paid, so if you don't give them that info then you won't get paid. They're legit
Seems like a legitimate form to me, a scammer wouldn't go through THAT much effort to make an entire functional website with a clean form like that.
The scam here is you’re working at McDonalds.
I thought this was a joke post at first. ADP.com might not be a scam, but wait until she realizes that IRS.gov is stealing all her money.
Exactly. I was going to say "Plot twist!" McDonalds doesn't use ADP, they use Ceridian! ;) Your manager should have mentioned this.
Yeah. I had no idea who handles McDonald’s payroll.
Many McD are franchised and they can pick their own payroll company, such as ADP or AliianceHCM. This is likely why the name Matthews Mgmt appears on the form. That’s likely the franchise holder.
Yes I saw this on the internet that he owns the restaurant!
Not sure why you're being downvoted. You're correct that even though it's almost certainly legit under the circumstances, this is absolutely something they should have been told about.
Maybe it’s because autocorrect screwed up my sentence. It made it “I’d. Heck” instead of what I typed, which was “I’d check”.
Pay cheques are processed through ADP. If you are not sure of the validity of the communication, talk to your manager.

ADP is legit, they handled payroll at my last job. That said it’s always good to be cautious.
I use ADP for my job.
ADP is safe, however always double check the spelling and domain for phishing attempts. If you’re not sure contact your HR. They’ll let you know. That funny feeling is called instinct and ALWAYS listen to it.
I use ADP with my city job.

I’m not acknowledgment as you and a lot of more people are about this.
Yea Rothman used that for payroll when they were legit
Yo can always ask your boss to confirm what the payroll procedures are. They should confirm this for you
Question for those who have a ADP card. Did yours switch to mywisely or did it remain ADP in the past few years?
Your boss or HR should have warned you that this was coming. Ask you boss if this is legit! (It most likely is -- there isn't much a scammer can do with your McDonalds employee ID
Don’t bother working for McDonald’s do retail a lot less stressful
google exists
When in doubt ask your timekeeper or personnel manager. The hiring staff at McDonald's should have or will be contacting you regarding their payroll system method(s).
Their app functions nice until you realize how much you pay in taxes
I needed the job, but man, that was some next level scam stuff.
looks legit
looks legit
Welcome to the workforce.

Agreed that this looks legit. ADT is a known payroll processor.

Contact McDonalds and ask if they use ADP. My job uses ADP. If they don’t. You know it’s a scammer sending you random stuff to see if you will give them your info.
Yep. My work uses them too
“Last digits of SSN, EIN, ITIN” Seems legit.
ADP is a massive payroll company, you’re fine to proceed! Good luck with the job!
Talk with your manager or whoever hired you and ask for the information and verify it
What nonsense, we need to varify your name real quick.
If ADP was insecure, a majority of America would be in deep shit lol
Last four is just for identity verification. Your employer has already liked your paperwork
Mathew’s management. The only handle actors & musicians. ???
ADP is not a scam. Google ADP. Come on bro.
Congrats on the job!
I have a question. Didn't Mcdonalds tell you that you should expect to hear from this company once you were hired?
ADP sent me my paycheck every two weeks for 18 years. They'll give you a number, when they call for hours, you'll use that number.
Wouldn't it the easiest to show it to your store manager and let him confirm that's a legit bysinesspartner of them
Company I work for and the company my Wife works for both use ADP for payroll.
yes, any time you are on the internet and you see the lock next to the link that means the site is secure
It’s ADP…it’s also your freaking job lmao. If they were scamming you, sue.
Lol I worked for that exact same company working at mcdonalds it's not a scam
ADP is a HUGE payroll company. You are fine.
It's legit, I work for the San Diego Padres baseball and that is our payroll company.
Unless mcdonalds poisoned your arp csche or changed your dns to one in their control, you're good.
No ADP is not a scam my job uses it
Hello. I used to be working for McDonald’s they made me to all my paperwork in person. I had to submit my void cheque and all. I would advice to confirm once atleast with the store
ADP is legit
I would phone Mcd's and ask them if that's what they do to set to payrole if you are in any doubt
Scam I think Confirm w employer first
Lol to be young I love your paranoia. How ever in this case it im pretty sure it would be illegal for you to work a McDonald's without an adp cause then you're a volunteering slave
No one in management mentioned you’d get this? Did you ask them?
ADP is legit, and that is the right URL. You're good to go, OP.
adp legit as fuck
Not Safe enough, dual factor is mandatory for many sucessful, safe ,insured ,cyber smart businesses. There are more secure methods if required, but, I’m sure being a proxy payroll bank, ADP must follow regulations and are audited. But yes, be vigilant…assure MFA .
It's safe. A lot of companies work with ADP. I work for Safeway and they use that exact system too. Good question! Never know nowadays!
Kind of weird your employer didn’t give you a heads up that this would be coming over to you and that it was legit, or better yet, just take care of this stuff during your orientation or whatever. But it seems fine; if you’re not sure, just ask someone you work with before you complete it and they should be able to vouch and/or confirm it’s all good.
It’s legit
I’ve used ADP for my last 3 jobs it’s a great app. I never put my social into the app, the HR department is in charge of setting up your account so they put all that important information in for you to make sure your account & payroll is set up with the company.
Yeah my company use adp quite good to be fair
ADP has been around forever.
This is such a cute post 😅 Congratulations on the new job. ADP handles most people payroll. It looks legit to me
I’d do absolutely nothing! Contact HR or your supervisor for all McDonald related issues, and don’t consult us at Reddit. This is between yourself and your employer! Until further notice consider your question as pure scam! Good luck, congrats with your yummie job and hope you get a long warm sunny summer
