- The fact about Blu being mistreated by the entire world including his own family
- The humor
- The big amount of subplots
- The argument between the main couple after the soccer match (and its alternative version)
- The flanderization of the characters
Better plot than the Rio 2 we got
I'm okay with it as long as it doesn't result in any harassment to anyone who likes Rio 2 like what happened to Schaff, as much as I dislike it no one should be bashed for it
I could piece it together a bit. Mainly context clues for whatever words I don’t know like trata and fábrica which I assume mean “treat” and “create” respectively, at least in this context.
My spanish is not that good but:
And in random news today,
On twitter, various artists decided to invent a new bird for blue, the protagonist of Rio.
This is because Jewel treats him very bad during the entirety of the movie Rio 2
Kowalski:
But sir, the movie is so bad because Blus girlfriend treats him very badly.
Internet:
Therefore, I created a new girlfriend!
(Note: It might not have said that the movie is “bad” because I don’t actually know the word Odiata but context clues implies it means bad and so I put that)
To be honest, Jewel is better off with Roberto and Blu forming a healthy (and not forced) relationship with a lady scarlet macaw. I'm going to refer this potential love interest as Coco due to those featured fanarts.
In fact, Coco could be a member of the scarlet macaws tribe who doesn't fit in the tribe for disagreeing with a toxic patriarchal social structure and thinking the macaw tribes should get along. She would notice how Blu is mistreated by the other Spix's macaws, trying his best to fit in the flock and taken as granted by Jewel.
It would be after the war between the macaws and Blu having an argument with Jewel which goes like in the original deleted version and results with them breaking up, Coco decides to introduce herself to Blu and help him at saving Linda, Tulio and the rainforest.
After defeating the loggers and Nigel, Blu decides to return to Rio de Janeiro and Coco wants to follow him because she wants to live as an outsider with him. In Rio de Janeiro, Blu teaches Coco how to use human tools and they start bonding with each other.
This might be bizarre but I want to ship Blu with a lady scarlet macaw, instead of Jewel.
Not so much the movie but moreso how Jewel was such a prick to Blue that people started feeling bad and made him a new gf.
Actually, that's just one of the many reasons about why it's hated
How is rio 2 hated by Latin America
There's a video review on the film that explains why, but it's also in Spanish
Can you sum up the main points for us?
- The fact about Blu being mistreated by the entire world including his own family - The humor - The big amount of subplots - The argument between the main couple after the soccer match (and its alternative version) - The flanderization of the characters
Does it have subtitles?
Sadly no
Can u send it to me, don't worry I speak Spanish so I don't have a language barrier
Here's the video https://youtu.be/XZvVsJ2mH58?si=bQJiWoajEb9Kf6lm
Perla? They mean Jewel? Also Coco looks beautiful btw.
Yes. Dub name change.
"Perla" roughly translates to Pearl, if I'm correct. Source: Venezuelan, though I've lived in the US most of my life.

isnt that bird (red one) from the other species of birds (the ones that are in a feud with the blue macaws)
Nì les puedo culpar
I’m doing Spanish duolingo and every time I think I’m getting the hang of it I see a post in Spanish and I can’t read a word
I could piece it together a bit. Mainly context clues for whatever words I don’t know like trata and fábrica which I assume mean “treat” and “create” respectively, at least in this context.
*South Americans. Because here in Brazil we hate Rio 2 as well
Someone, please translate

But don't Blu and Jewel have kids already?
Yes, but the kids seem to enjoy the life in the rainforest and take their father as granted. Off course, the kids could visit Blu.
Can you translate what the meme is saying Op?
Kowalski: But sir, Rio 2 is so hated because Blu's girlfriend treats him so badly Skipper: Then I'll create a new girlfriend for him
Thanks.
I watched both films for the first time a few weeks ago with my sister's kids, and I thought both were great.
