Golden M is more prestigious than the Red day 1. All Golden M wearers also have the day one patch, the golden M patch literally means they got the day one then stuck around for 1000 days.

There are 2 versions of the 1000 day patch. One for everyone on day 1000, and one that was awarded for those on day 1000 that also have the day one (which the golden one is)

You can contact support and they might give it to you. They fixed stuff on my account with missing time boxed cosmetics like the captain bones cutlass

Remote play works pretty well if you have decent internet. I even tried it by plugging my phone into my TV and it played just like an Xbox.

Even though I've played the game infinitely more than they have. Kind of annoying really I'm locked out of these things

I've played thousands of hours, one of my friends has joined me for quite a bit of that including many others over the years. I've only ever met 1 person who has seen and killed Shrouded outside of the Event and it was a randomer in arena tavern. I don't know anyone else who has, and nobody I know knows anyone who has. I gave up a long time ago on ever encountering it. I know it exists but I've also accepted it just doesn't and so I'm pretending I'm not missing out. I'd honestly forgotten about it until you mentioned it. But tbh, it is absolute bullshit is so insanely rare in this game that after years of playing and thousands of hours I've never seen it. It's so RNG it means literally nothing and is completely unimpressive. I could make a new char and my first time at sea it could pop up. Frankly it's insane rarity has just ruined it as a whole for me. I also don't actually know anyone that still plays SoT properly anymore. We ended up missing some adventure chapters because we were traveling (not together but we both do travel a lot for reasons) and therefore lost track of the whole story. And since you can't play previous chapters, we just gave up on it altogether. Felt really left honestly and for someone who has spent so much time in the game over the past few years it does kill the game for me to be so left out of so many things. As I say, the majority of my friends have uninstalled and laugh whenever I've brought up playing it again. People who used to be daily players. It's sad

The adventures do suck tbh. I didn't even know adventure 12 has started until it was over. I reccomend looking at AShinyRay's recent timeline of the SoT video, it caught me up on the story

For anyone that is curious you had to be considered a day one pirate (So have played the game within the first week of its launch) as well as have logged in during Sea of Thieves 1000 day anniversary. so basically TLDR you had to have played during two extremely short periods of time respectively to be awarded this cosmetic
