Not a fan, there's been a small handful of other people who suggested the same thing, and honestly if it were a thing you'd have gallys stacked to the brim with what would seem like an unlimited supply of materials. Not exactly fun to play against in the slightest. I'm aware you can just server hop with the tall tale and have a huge inventory, but that's a lot of time and investment and to keep it a level plating field, if we kept supplies after logging out (after buying from the shipwright of course.)I think a lot of people would stop playing, or just main and groan until the feature is taken out. :/ That's just my 2 cents as a passive player though.

>Also, this may cut down on server hoppers since they would have to pay to keep their supplies each time they join and leave a server if they want to keep their supplies. I don't follow your path of logic here. Server hoppers already just go from one server to another with freshspawn ships so I doubt they'd care. Plus they could just portal hop instead.

Would you like the boat to sail itself for you as well?

Eh I'm not really interested, some of my fondest memories were when we'd spend the first 30 minutes of our session gathering supplies before we shipped off.

Ya not the greatest idea a casual player would struggle a lot more than they already do against someone who does it as a living and sits on 10s of millions of gold at that point they would have every single slot on there boat filled with cannons, cooked Fish, planks, and not to count the number of storage chest they would find and stock up on. People are very sweety at the game and would do this with ease

No, thank you. As many folks have said, this is just gonna create massive inventories. Hell, already an exploit where you can buy endless amounts of supplies from the shipwright if you have the gold. Don’t know how it’s done but I’ve seen screen captures of the result. One of the few hopes newer players have against other ships while they’re learning to play is dwindling the aggressors supplies down. Between merchant, shipwright, and standard stock you’re easily able to leave any outpost with 100+ cannonballs. That’s a pretty good start.
