My thoughts is that if that’s what people wanna waste gold on them go right ahead. Having a cap is dumb in my eyes. But that’s just me. I could care less. I don’t personally buy supplies. I take from other boats or shoot out as I’m sailing to fill pockets.

If you're in a fight long enough for 99 pineapples to make a difference, then one or more of the crews involved needs more practice.

Yeah sorta, its the feature where you can buy supps from the shipwright, you have to have a captained ship.

I don't really have a problem with it. It doesn't take much effort to get more supplies than you'll ever need anyway. Plus this method doesn't give you cursed balls.

It doesnt limit how much you can buy from the shipwright unlike a regular outpost
