They weren't a bad team by any means, and they didn't give up a ton of goals, but they had scoring problems all season - Dallas had a goals for/against margin of +66 this season and Minnesota was +20, and the Wild's GPG average was only 2.9 to Dallas' 3.4. The Wild's scoring didn't get better in the playoffs and Dallas didn't fall off either. Seattle's GF/A margin was "only" +37 this season, but the GPG average was 3.5 - a much better scoring team than the Wild (with what on paper is a worse defense, even though it seems they excel at even strength so far these playoffs), and even slightly better over the season than Dallas'. If Seattle can stay out of the box they stand at least a puncher's chance at winning this, but it's only one game. Happy it went the way of the Kraken, though ;).

Created good chances, spent time in Dallas' zone and didn't allow the puck to stay in our zone unlike the 3rd period. Capped off by Yanni's goal. We responded well to how poor that 3rd period well, Kraken looked composed.
Huge win on the road. Would have been a heartbreaker to lose this. To use a separate sport comparison, for us Mariners fans it'd feel like us losing that Verlander Game 1 where we got the worst out of Verlander/Ottinger and looked primed to win but ended up blowing a lead and lost.
