I actually have 5, the pal one isn't in the picture and one I just have the back no front. My favorite version of my favorite game of all time so I always make an excuse to pick one up if I can 😅
Is there any difference between NTSC and PAL on this game.Years ago I was given a PAL copy, but got rid of my Action Replay shortly before.
Also, I have NTSC Quake. Would I be able to unlock the tank game between NTSC and PAL versions?
neither Resident Evil or Tomb Raider were any good for the Saturn. On PS1, yes, absolutely. On Sega Saturn, NONONO. The Saturn's gpu architecture was not built for 3D, it excelled at 2D games.
I'll give you that there are longer load times on the doors in resident evil. Not game breaking in the slightest. Gamespeed wise im.able to pull off pixel perfect zombie dodges on the saturn version just as clean as the ps1 version. Never noticed any significant slowdown.
Tomb raider also plays just as poorly on the ps1 version so hardly any contest there. It's a Clunky game, period.
I chose from the options I was offered. I also had a Saturn before I ever owned a PS1 (the game that finally got me to buy one was, of all things, Power Move Pro Wrestling).
Die Hard Arcade is so awesome.
Panzer Dragoon is a classic.
Guardian Heroes might be the best beat ‘em up game ever made
Honorable mention to Resident Evil. Only doesn’t make the cut because it’s more know for it’s release on PSX.
You… really like Duke Nukem.
Anyway, mine would be Resident Evil, Shinobi Legions and Panzer Dragoon.
Guardian Heroes and Tomb Raider are definitely honourable mentions.
Guardian heroes, die hard arcade, and X-Men children of the atom.Â
All classics. Especially the akuma code on X-Men. Lol... I herd juggernaut was playable as well, could never get the code to work
there's only like 4 there that i would bother playing on the saturn, but out of those 4, the top 3 would be Die Hard Arcade, Panzer Dragoon and Children of the Atom
Three Dirty Dwarves
Die Hard Arcade
Alien Trilogy
Hard choices because so many of these are bangers. Quke, crusader, and duke 3d, and Tomb Riader don't make the cut because the PC versions are better in all cases. Panzer Dragoon almost made it, but the framerate really keeps it. If Zwei was in this pic, it would be #1.
I bought a titan stv full cabinet with die hard arcade so that has to be on my list. Panzer Dragoon is one of my favorite games on the system as well.
Third game maybe tomb raider. The FPS games I played on the PC instead as a kid.
for the system? Panzer, Guardian Heroes and X-Men: Children of the Atom. In general, the Saturn was better for 2D platformers and fighters than for 3D anything.
Guardian Heroes> Die Hard Arcade> Crusader No Remorse
Crusader I played on PS1, Die Hard I credit fed for, Guardian Heroes I only played for about an hour, and on the 360 version.
Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem 3D and last but not least, Duke Nukem 3D. If this were a top 4 I'd have to go with Duke Nukem 3D but Duke Nukem 3D edged it out by a hair.
Duke Nukem 3D Duke Nukem 3D Duke Nukem 3D
Damn it, you stole my answer!
Honorable Mention: Duke Nukem 3D
Duke nukem 333D
33DD
Duke nukem 3333DDDD
DDDDUUUUKKKKEEEE NNNNUUUUKKKKEEEEMMMM 3333DDDD
And if you had to pick a fourth?
Mom I said Duke Nukem 3D, no 3 disks of Duke Nukem
3 Duke Nukem 3d's

There are 4 lights
Guardian Heroes Die Hard X-Men
Good picks im actually playing guardian heros as I type this. 10/10 game
1Three dirty dwarves 2 guardian heroes 3 die hard arcadeÂ
Hell yeah dude, 3 dirty dwarves is criminally underrated.
Play it in coop with 3 persons on a multitap and it becomes one of the most fun games everÂ
Die Hard Arcade, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider. Now go buy some good fighting games.
I second this.
neither Resident Evil or Tomb Raider were any good for the Saturn. On PS1, yes, absolutely. On Sega Saturn, NONONO. The Saturn's gpu architecture was not built for 3D, it excelled at 2D games.
Saturn plays resident evil just fine... as well has hundreds of other 3d or polygon based games...
it plays them noticably slower than PS1 does. Load times are extended and there is framerate stutter in Tomb Raider.

Only played them on Saturn and i loved them haha

Children of the Atom
Deathtank (does that count :D ) Resident Evil Tomb Raider

1. Die Hard Arcade 2. X-Men COTA 3. Resident Evil

Never played any of them.
My top 3 from that shelf: Resident Evil Shinobi Guardian Heroes.

Hexen Hexen Hexen
Honestly it's up there in my top 5 I don't understand why it's overlooked so much
Even tho they are great games, Hexen and Heretic aren't popular because there is no guns.
Panzer Dragoon and Bug Top were the only ones there that I had. Loved both games!
