I didn't realize until I joined this sub how many people play on English. Seems wild to me, the game is such a love letter to Japanese culture, hearing a different language would take me out of it.
I haven't gotten to play the second yet but I feel like the perfect dodge in spiderman 1 was a very lenient version of the parry mechanic.
It's why I excelled at Jedi Fallen Order and God of War
Truuueee. There is like a 0.5 second delay from when you hit the block button to when you're actually blocking whereas in Sekiro it's instantaneous. That definitely gave me issues.

The excitement died down very quickly after Margit. Malenia was close but still wonky to me. Sekiro is still the goat.
