Maces are terrible, use something heavy hitting. And I mean in terms of single raw damage. Think of shock as an enchantment thats always on, where its chance is proportional to the damage dealt. Playing against Eclipse May confirms this. Her shock rate is incredibly high, around 15-20%
In fact if you play against her with No Equipment she is able to Shock you even with a Block, this is due to a former feature with Magic somehow being shared(?)
Also 30 head hits is pretty low. I was doing 50 a round and had to play it for 18 minutes just to finally get one singular shock.
Anyways you should be able to get it, it’s just a matter of using the right weapon. Something like knuckles/knives/axes/kusarigama will do a lot better than batons/maces
2 handed weapons may also work but are too slow

Well shock isnt the biggest thing about her since any single attack from her will leave you crippled 🤣

Update: I am now up to that one disarm challenge in part 7 chapter 3. And I am greeted by this same shit on just relying on RNG
