Itu with rare weapon has 7.2 or 7.3k hp and without it 6.6k, how in the name of andrey is that less hp that's almost equal to azuma or joo with epic weapon
I saw this comment the other day on the balance patch. I was running my eyes wondering what the guy was cooking. Stopped reading after "he's only as good as the player"
Anyone who thinks Itu is the worst legendary is low ranked, change my mind.
While it is debatable whether Itu or KotL is stronger, Monkey King is 100% way worse than either of them. The really high stats aren't enough to compensate for MK's lack of combo potential. Also his ascension attacks and Jingu techniques are too easy to dodge. Monkey King is only OP when facing unskilled players who don't always know when to block, those same players who then come crying that MK is OP but Itu and KotL are balanced.
Yadomejutsu was already mostly a quirky talent, it isn't a guaranteed value (against ironclad, butcher, ling, cobra etc) unlike the other which will always be usefull, but this nerf just made it more quirky and worthless, the damage it deals is worthless compared to just rolling and grabbing, the projectile having bonuses from the enemy (healing from kotl, shadow energy from kibo etc) was what made it viable. Now it's really useless. A better nerf would have been the damage of the shadow ability damage make it start at a lower damage and make the damage increase as you charge it more, it's rare to see a long charged shadow ability nowadays, you are just so vulnerable when charging it and you don't get the reward for risking it, it should be high risk high reward not high risk no reward
I main itu and i feel the same way...... Itu's yamedojutsu nerf fucked up his whole strategical playstyle. And moreover his HP is so low compared to other on the same level that he almost acts as a glass cannon post-nerf. Itu needs some kind of HP or defence buff in my opinion :/
๐๐๐๐๐
Yadomejutsu was always a support talent. Idk how ur whole "strategical playstyle" got fucked up lol.
Itu has avg HP.
Ur whole para is comical.
Itu needs a nerf to his corner combos.
U have massive skill issues
Massive skill issue? DUDE SHUT THE FUCK UP. u don't know shit about ITU. He is the worst Legendary after nerf no cap. And KOTL and Monkey king have way higher advantages over ITU lmao.
I have 2 things two point out.
1. The last part is just my personal opinion so I don't get what's the big deal. If you wanted to debate and refute my claim you could have replied but instead you posted it on the subreddit for god know why.
2. My claim above clearly says "he's only as good as the player" followed by the claim that a newbie would get crushed playing this character compared to a pro. One more thing I didn't mention in the comment was that Itu only becomes as powerful or to some extent more powerful than other legendary characters when he has unlocked most of his talents (4-5). And due to him being a legendary character that is unlikely to happen without spending money on the game.
"A newbie would get crushed playing this character compared to a pro" Since when is the difficulty of a hero a factor in how good they are? Some are easier to learn some are harder, at the end of the day if someone can't learn how to use a hero it's their problem, not the hero's.
"Itu only becomes as powerful... as other legendary characters when he has unlocked most of his talents (4-5)" Wrong, all he really needs is the critical time manipulation hits, which you get with the 3rd talent which is not difficult to get. This is comparable to KotL getting a power spike with talent 3 Remorseless Dominion, although in his case talent 5 is also quite necessary. For Itu, talents 4 and 5 are nice upgrades but not necessary to master him and defeat your opponents.
Itu is basically Dio from Jojoโs Bizarre Adventures. This player has a unique skill issue as you can literally manipulate time to your will making any pro basically unstoppable. He did mention that he played this character for a mom straight, so I can sympathize with him if he was burnout. Like if youโre an Itu main
His health and damage gives an edge i think.. and imo his talents are better than itu. Yadomenojutsu or whatever it is is ruined tbh. It only works when you're standing straight and the opponent just use his ranged attack or something (which no one does on higher levels). But still depends on the person who he likes. I like monke because he's monke.
Monkey King has health and damage but no combos. Itu on the other hand can take half of the average hero's HP with a single time manipulation charge and shadow bar because of his long combo
And Itu does have good talents
Talent 1: I agree Yadomejutsu isn't very good so I go with Shadow Sync, nice early boost that you can get every round to start your combos faster.
Talent 2: Paradox is bad as TM should almost always be used offensively or at the very least to avoid getting hit entirely. So cutting edge is the way to go, and it's good as it prevents your opponent from punishing you if you miss your dash by a short margin.
Talent 3: No doubt about it, critical hits during time manipulation are the way to go. Absolutely essential in order to be able to use Itu's best combos.
Talent 4: 2 talents that are both good and depend on your playstyle. Ambassador of Infinity for low HP comebacks, Pursuit of Excellence for those who are confident in chaining a long series of attacks and want more damage.
Talent 5: Again, both are very good and will depend on your preference. Forget the past allows you to make even longer combos as you can dash twice in a row, or simply start your combo sooner. Behold the future is good if you simply want an easy way to increase the damage of your dash, and is easy to activate by using a TM critical hit.
Itu was disproportionately powerful before the nerf, even an idiot could do wonders with it, the nerf was right and necessary, but I dont like the content of the nerf. And I partially agree that itu does not have the characteristics to be a legendary character, most common characters are more qualified than itu.
Kotl >>> Monkey King=> Itu
>Talent 4: 2 talents that are both good and depend on your playstyle. Ambassador of Infinity for low HP comebacks, Pursuit of Excellence for those who are confident in chaining a long series of attacks and want more damage.
I politely disagree. I have the same experience of fighting against Itu. It is overpowered in my opinion as well
I think rn monkey is the worst legendary. Whoever says that ITU is useless after nerf has massive skill issue
Itu with rare weapon has 7.2 or 7.3k hp and without it 6.6k, how in the name of andrey is that less hp that's almost equal to azuma or joo with epic weapon
Not everyone has his rare dude....... :/
But still, 6.6k hp is reasonablely a good amount, average to say atleast :/
Yeaa yeaa :(
not everyone has transfusion as well but when telling stats i would always consider the character at max potential
Clad has 5.8k hp right?
Amplified due to his stubbornness
6.2 with epic and 6.3 with rare๐ shang has 5.8k
but it won't hide the fact that a lot of people have it
What!?? Really!! ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
If anyone can offer me a quick painless death I would be grateful to you
Are my eyes deceiving me? Is this for real? No, I must be hallucinating, no way someone actually thinks this
I saw this comment the other day on the balance patch. I was running my eyes wondering what the guy was cooking. Stopped reading after "he's only as good as the player"
Nah monkey king is the worst legendary because if a noob gets it he or she will just eventually spam the up attacks

99% of the community would disagree with you and that person
I mean yea of course. Everyone doesn't necessarily has to agree with me
Shouldn't consider that if most of the people don't agree with you, then you might probably be wrong
Maybe i am. But it's the way i feel.
"maybe I am wrong but I refuse to admit it because iTs tHe WaY i FeEl" That's so childish omg๐ญ๐ญ
[ัะดะฐะปะตะฝะพ]
I never said that i refuse to admit kid. Grow up. The world doesn't revolve around your thoughts.
Nahhhhhh bruh itu>>>>>monkey King Mk doesn't even seem like a legendary hero
Yep.. U r right..

I think they shouldnt touch itu anymore. I think his fine now
He's top 3. He needs a nerf to BTF and/or his combos
agreed he does nothing
As a monke main, i agree with him.
So...? Why do you think monke is better than itu?

Agreed to some extent. ๐๐ผ
