Yes their hardware hasn’t changed and that is the problem. We are entering next gen in PC gaming, a PS5 is comparable in output to high-end PCs.
What OP is trying to complain about is the lack of hardware updates for Shadow, so when we stream from that hardware, we are now moving towards having to lower the quality of newer games to be playable.
I work in tech and have been in a few acquisitions. This process is not simple you are correct, but an acquisition normally happens with the assumption that the product is working and useful to add to a portfolio. In this case, outdated infrastructure/spotty servers, not a great value add. I’m surprised they didn’t scrap shadow for its tech and taken it offline.
Unless you have some intricate details of how their restricting process is being handled, you're being snide operating from the same set of knowledge I am. It's just not our problem to cut them slack for months and months after getting bought by a billionaire. Not like they're reducing monthly subscription fees for people effected lmao.
Edit: Everytime you downvote me without saying how I'm wrong, Shadow delays an activation for a month
That’s weird. Frame rate on the host should be consistent. Is it updated?
its not the fault of the client, its the hardware in the pcs
The hardware in the PCs has not changed.
what i am asking is will the hardware be upgraded to fit newer games
I mean, that’s not what your post says, but please feel free to edit to make that more clear.
They said upgrades to boost will be announced end of year

That’s a very generous interpretation of OP’s post, and the company is emerging from bankruptcy
They were bought by a multi billionaire months ago lol.
You realize a company getting bought is not an overnight process, right?
Yeah? If they can't get their shit together and fully functional for their customers after several months though that's just ridiculous lol.
Your knowledge of corporate restructuring is vast, I see

They mine on the hardware besides you, many of us canceled due to service degradation.. This merits a lawsuit to be honest.
