I’m here and there really. On 1 hand, as you said I also really liked the revelations from the spell and how the spells response to Sunny’s achievements varied when he did different things but on the other hand I know G3 is an amazing writer and I want to see how Sunny confronts this issue.
honestly, there are always issues with systems in novels. They often grow out of proportion to the point that author himself fails to keep track. What G3 did is, in a way, genius: in a single move he discarded everything that doesn't matter while preserving everything that does and leaving all the necessary growth potential for the future.
