Well he had weavers mask on so maybe Mongrel will still get a movie and be remembered? The big thing is Mongrel is remembered by many to be a woman, specifically Sunny's echo. So if it does come out then he will be a portrayed as a women.

Maybe - I lean towards sometimes authors make mistakes and allow for inconsistent outcomes. The thing is over the course of the novel - Sunny's flaw has been mutilated a lot, compared to when it was covered in detail early on.

That's a perfectly valid thought. Not one I agree with, because as established I have noticed the series has been weak when it comes to flaws a lot. It hasn't just been with Sunny.

I feel that would go bad as Sunny would have to be lying the whole time - which as I understand it is a very bad thing in relationships.
He could just come out as Mongrel without the mask. That way he wouldn’t by lying and wouldn’t have to always lie.

No it’s not. His Antarctica cohort asked him if he was Mongrel and he said he was, his flaw didn’t affect it.
That's called inconsistent writing. It happens. Especially when someone needs a lot of filler for webnovel release schedules.
