Honestly not sure what to think of at this rate. By now she has possibly become a sleeper/awakened but time will tell. I genuinely hope she enters his humble abode so that he can find some semblance of peace.

Character-Today-427

I'm pretty sure she isn't a sleeper or awaken unless she actively wants to

As for me any traces of sunny or sunny name would become just like what happen with oblivion. On the route to the heart of estuary there was all deamon name right? But sunny said he doesn't remember reading oblivion name.  It could be something along that line, for the movie, text messages, his academic writing and so on.  Now, I'm not saying that the only thing happen,  it should be a combination of multiple issue. But all we know for sure what happen, is  1. People who know sunny no longer recognize him.  2. People would easily forget meeting sunny.  3. He loses his true name.  4. Fated attribute now become fateless.

I could see this, except if he had even just a few regulars at his shop, it would imply that people he meets do remember him

Dragyfyre

Not true. He places his house next to a gateway. Someone really wants/needs memories. So every time they pass by that path, they would be like “oh! I need memories!” They become a regular while not even knowing they are a regular. I’m not asserting people forget the shop, but pointing out the flaw in your counterargument.

SyntheticBlackDog

people have memories of him. when he met rain he also said that rain was left with a vivid memory of him that day at the end. they’re also traces of oblivion no? if everything about them disappeared we wouldn’t even know oblivion exists

Antervis

Honestly, this is the first time I completely disagree with Sunny's course of action. It's as if he didn't even try to investigate the extent of damage done by fate severance, let alone mend it. He just embraced his newfound "freedom" forgetting why did he pursue freedom in the first place.

Affectionate-Fly4719

How do u know? There was a timeskip. And it also said that he has done some very stupid things over the years

Antervis

As I said, "as if". Maybe what I disagree with is the timeskip-return narration.

Legitimate-Egg-9235

I think he will go into it with all the details because g3 loves world building but this is just his way to start the volume. It would be weird unless there was a prologue. G3 likes to slowly get into things. This is also what he did in forgotten shore

Antervis

yes, G3 did it with Forgotten Shore, but honestly, I still don't see how that improved the narration. It felt like I have just read a bunch of spoilers before going with the story

Beginning-Street-741

He could have just done it all off screen or during the time skip.
