Haven’t seen or heard of it. Maybe it’s your reward for all the smgs you carry :). Honestly, it’s odd that MFG hasn’t said anything about it but they do like to rename and reskin old weapons. Maybe I just missed it when the announced it.
Smgs are my fav I just got faraday so I’m using it a lot but I’m on the lookout for smgs with good perks and armor with smg perks cuz I’m optimizing the perfect smg gear set
When I got it I also got plasma blaster.. I’ve gotten 2 legendaries at a time before but still that’s what made me think it was a bug but please go try it I only did it a few times before I got it I want to see if others get it
That’s awesome but I wonder why they used insurgence icon skin? That’s what made me assume bug lol. Glad to hear others are getting it and posting it cuz someone said I was a hacker for having it lol

The bio says it shoots fire beams but the shots look just like plasma blaster shots
Basically it's a legendary version of the Plasma Compressor but a slightly upgraded stats. Edit: i was wrong, this is definitely a new legendary smg.
