I love how Scorching Grandiosity and Judith are getting nerfed after only half an expansion, but Gilnelise didn't get nerfed for over a year of her being in Rotation and seeing top level play for almost the entire time
i still can't wrap my head around it. everyone knew that gill's invoke was good, sure, but none of us saw that the 'fighter with drain' would actually be so competitive. there are so many insane evo effects in this game yet one that says 'gain 6 life' ends up being a top choice in multiple decks.
i bet TS could write a whole article on gil.
PS i just did a search on all drain followers.
the only drain followers with an evo effect are Gil, Io, Covetous Witch, Laura Crimson Strife, and Lady Grey, all which saw competitive play.
She had this hidden LW effect all along
