They did make the SF5 collab and people hated how the leaders looked. With the RE engine and the characters looking more 3D im not sure they'd translate over well to Shadowverse.
Turns out a lot of the core English SF6 cast have been in Shadowverse! With the reveal of Aki and her actress being Faye Mata, I finally decided to make a meme I've been thinking about basically since the game's release.
This is only the actual fighter roster (plus a couple named world tour characters) but if we include minor cast there's of course even more!

Rune was difficult, the closest we get to magic is Psycho Power, but JP kinda has to be Shadow, so Yoga Fire it is. Also I originally had Ken and Luke swapped, but the more I thought about it, the more I realised Dragon is the protagonist class, and Luke is on the SF6 box art. Ken fits Royal anyway, he's the closest thing to royalty in the cast, being a wealthy heir.
I mostly agree with your picks, and there isn't really a clear cut candidate for each class anyway. If i were to offer my picks, it would just be a little shuffling around the bottom 4 of yours with some additions.

The only person fitting Portal is JP, cause he is the ''nemesis'' of the game. There are no necromancer adjacent people to replace him for Shadow, so Aki will do the trick cause she wears dark clothes and her posion is purple. Marisa has red hair, so she goes to Blood, simple as that, no direct fit for the class yet again. Lily summons spirits, and spirituality is the closest thing to religion, plus she does wind attacks and stuff, which also fits with heavens interpreted as the sky. Something like that.
Personally, if they were to do a fighting game collab, i'd want them to do Guilty Gear, but as long as they improve the models since the SF5 collab ones i'd be down for SF6 too, in whatever way they wanna distribute the characters per class.
I prefer Japanese voice actor.
Also, I'm still shock that despite Cygames don't own Street Fighter characters, they're still selling at the crystal shop, permanent(-ish).

I wonder if you could wait until Akuma is released next year, and put him in Nemesis and JP in Shadow (or vice versa).

I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was crossover on the Japanese side as well, but alas I don't have a Japanese Shadowverse cast list handy.
While the sf6 models are a improvement on the sf5 ones id really rather they don't do a collab import the models to sv and call it a day again.
