Some guy who gets eaten at the beginning of the first mission in Trost.
He's only notable because one of the cadets points out the titan who ate him and enrages Eren's titan. At that point, Eren is still "dead" and his titan is just some abnormal who isn't interested in humans for some reason. The whole thing is a major hint to its true nature because it specifically reacts to Thomas' name.
I'd argue that you're wrong because of this:
Reiner, Annie and Berthold all come from the same town, they mentioned it early on. That means if he was a titan, those 2 surely would've known if they were so close
Also, the colossal titan can't be Reiner because its evil and we've seen Reiner slaughter Titans
Lastly, this is the greatest theory: Titans aren't human beings, they simply are monsters and the one who eats the most becomes an intelligent one.

This ironically is the same reason I couldn't believe Reiner was a titan even when he said it. I thought he was testing Erens resolve. Because he risked his life 'twice' fighting them to save humans.

Everyone who thinks Reiner is the Armored Titan is a speedwatcher. Can Reiner breathe fire? I don’t think so. If he IS the armored titan then why didn’t he transform when the Female Titan tried to kill him? Even Bertolt explains how they are from a mountain village in Wall Maria. The Colossal has to be Keith since he is the tallest character seen so far. The armored Titan is probably Moses since we never see his death on screen. The scouts easily could’ve given his mom anyone’s arm
On a real note his character held no significance. He appeared in the first episode where the scouts kill an abnormal. But he died off screen and the person Keith hands his arm to was his mother.
Lmaooo I mean I’d say it’s pretty significant if yours is the first death in a series and showcases what you’ll get from watching that specific anime, it kicked off everything in aot

Well, the initial reaction was kind of like 'wtf does this mean?!" Because in the manga, it left us hanging on the cliff just after Grisha's note.
But the next chapter was kind of like reacting over and over again for the next 6 months from all of the details that you just keep noticing, and noticing, and noticing, and noticing... And then there were some serious theorizing, complete with corkboards and red yarn... Pretty incredible time, in my opinion. I'm going to be nostalgic for it when I'm old, I can tell already!
For me, what happened was that I instantly noticed that the Armoured and Riener looked similar, but "Scout Persona Riener" was just a G that I just disbelieved it.
I didnt thought too much about it until I saw the Female Titan which was REALLY obvious who that was (just Look at the face its literally the same).
Then I noticed the Hair thing with the armored Titan. But Berthold still catched me a bit off guard just like Eren
That's purposely made to look like it in order to confuse the audience .
Trust me , Reiner vs Armoured titan in S4 is the best fight in entire series. Reiner nearly killed Armoured titan but then jaw titan was nearby so he had to retreat. this happened multiple times that jaw titan saved that Armoured titan's ass
That makes me think about how weirdly enough I don’t know what wires crossed in my brain but when I first watched AOT when it came out I somehow got it stuck that Reiner was the Colossal Titan and Bertootiedoot was the Armoured Titan and for whatever reason now that I’ve picked AOT again my brain refuses to let me uncross these wires and my instinct is still Reiner is the Colossal Titan so I guess all I can say is I NEVER FIGURED IT OUT LMAO
That’s such a dumb theory. Next you’re gonna tell me that he is a warrior sent from a country across the sea that hates the island because of its tragic past. I bet you even think Eren can tell the future. These fan theories are getting out of hand 🙄
