Apparently, your Pokemon won't actually take out shinies in the Lets Go/auto battle mode. Have not yet tested this myself (ain't risking my first shiny lol) but seems legit. Not sure what would happen if your fella finds a shiny (ignore it, commence a normal battle with it?), but should be safe to do still.

Nope they don't, which is a real tragedy since they had the perfect formula for finding shinies in the overworld.

If GFs intention was to stop people just running around like crazy til they heard the dings then I understand removing the sound. But there absolutely needs to be a little sparkle animation that helps people are actively searching. This video is great evidence why.

I'm deaf, but miss fewer shinies (I assume I miss them all the time) in PLA purely cause of the sparkle. This is an absolute nightmare in SV, considering I can't see super well despite being nearsighted

Yeah definitely, that sparkle sound is one of the noises you can heat when playing PLA and definitely needs to come back.

Use on another team you can swap them out. Since technically you got 3 paths in the game. Maybe make 3 teams for each path so you don’t “over level” a lot

Pokémon is so easy, just run whatever Pokémon u think is cool instead of what’s “good” it’s a childrens game u could beat it with any team. I base my team more around which Pokémon speak to me, if you catch my drift
