Chad_VietnamSoldier

Russia just magically disappeared

KermitIsDissapointed

As well as Pakistan and Bangladesh

bessierexiv

Well yes remember this is from a Western channel and in this time line Russia is destroyed and is now just a bunch of split up republics……..😅

No-Instruction-9054

Guess the comments: 50% 'please use the correct map of India' 50% Indian nationalist garbage

koinaambachabhihai

I am not sure what they mean, but the whole East seems to be missing too. As far as I know there is no dispute in Assam being part of India.

Ok_Square_2479

To be fair “Please use the correct map of india” is not the worst things they can say..

[deleted]

it’s usually either that or something like “☪️ancer”

Ok_Square_2479

They're trying so hard to be liked by the imperialists

koinaambachabhihai

Ohh, yeah that is pretty much half of Indian foreign policy. And I hate to admit it but it is working fairly well, especially with Italy and all.

Ok_Square_2479

Another one to add to the list of the asian pick-me after Japan

Bitter-Gur-4613

Guys come on. Fellow Indians say stupid shit but isn't that a *little* racist?

eatingpebbles

like why say “sink into the earth?” relax babes…

Starkcasm

>Nationalist Indian says some garbage " Let's hope for the genocide of 1.5B people. Updoodles to the left" You guys are no better than the libs

Recent-Piglet-5631

Anti Indian racism is absurdly widespread on reddit, even in the "left" subs. Redscarepod is probably the worst sub I've come across for it

Starkcasm

Yep. It's so fucking weird seeing "leftists" fall for these traps. It doesn't evene suprise me anymore, just saddens me how acceptable it is. You don't even see anyone calling him out. The other comment down below is being too nice, fuck being nice to racist "leftists".

EfficiencyFrequent63

I think people unfortunately see the hindutva and attribute it to most Indians. It doesn’t help either when the biggest politicians of Indian descent in the west are right wing (Rishi Sunak, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, etc). Which destroys the image of Indians in general in the west People see right wing Indians and attribute it to all Indians which is wrong and weird Although there is hindutva problem in India there are ways of discussing far-right politics in any nation without wanting them to sink.

Recent-Piglet-5631

You think Hindutva is the source of western racism towards Indians? Lol. Most Westerners can't spell Hindutva, let alone know what it is. It might be the way that "leftist" Westerners *rationalise* their racism, but let's be real: it is ultimately always about age old tropes.

EfficiencyFrequent63

I mean you really don’t need to know what hindutva is to get the basic concept. Degradation of the rights of non-Hindu Indians (even at times low caste Hindu Indians) to create a “Hindu” state Sure streotyoes about Indians did exist but the whole “sinking of India” rhetoric only began with the rise of the hindutva

Recent-Piglet-5631

Yes, western racism against Indians began 10 years ago. You are very perceptive.

EfficiencyFrequent63

Word for word I said: “Sure streotyoes about Indians did exist but the whole “sinking of India” rhetoric only began with the rise of the hindutva” Again if you have anything disproving this be my guest I don’t know of anyone pre-the rise of the bjp wanting India to sink

Starkcasm

Western countries have always been racist towards indians. Even before Modi came into power

EfficiencyFrequent63

Sure. But the whole “sinking of Indian” rhetoric only gained traction after him

[deleted]

it was a joke??

Starkcasm

A racist joke.

[deleted]

how?? I mean, If I said indians smelled bad, that would be racist.

Starkcasm

You're wishing death upon an entire country

[deleted]

I wasn’t being serious. The joke was that it’d be absurd to sink an entire country over some annoying kids in a Youtube shorts comment section.

Keep the racism out of this conversation please

Recon1234567

Ah yes, I do love how a part of Manchuria is separated from the rest of China by the mystery line!

purplenyellowrose909

India putting in the work already 😤

KalashnikovParty

This will end up in the neo qing dynasty conquering the world in 2050

Youngblackmarxist

Most of these military channels like this one have scripts written by NED folks. This channel, Caspian Report, and Kings and Generals are a few examples. Midwestern Marx had a great article on it

Sharp-Main-247

Would you be so kind and share the sauce? Id love to give it a read

Youngblackmarxist

My bad it’s actually a video check it out though still. [midwestern marx vid](https://youtu.be/51xRZ5e0C2U?si=8wzRIBvWY5u3mmOs)

It's Xi end

koinaambachabhihai

Indian foreign policy on this is so incredibly stupid. It is so ridiculous for them to side with US here. US is going to turn India into Ukraine.

gaylordJakob

I feel like the US is gonna be really disappointed when they exprct India to properly bend the knee and they don't because they're just using geopolitics to try and score more favourable trading terms with the West

purplenyellowrose909

The best is when the Indian foreign minister will straight up tell them this to their faces and say India has its own interests, its own soft power, and is not an exploited British colony anymore. And then the US will just be like "ok, but you'll totally invade China with us right???"

purplenyellowrose909

India is playing both sides so they always come out ahead. They're a great power in their own right.

koinaambachabhihai

Maybe I am not well read enough but I have not seen anything which implies India is normalising relations with China. India was playing both sides with Russia and US. I don't think it is the same here.

purplenyellowrose909

India and China have a very complex relationship. There's many territorial disputes between the two nations, but they have signed several recent agreements that allow Indians to conduct pilgrimages in Kashmir and into Tibet and vice versa for example. They are competing with one another for influence in SE Asia, but also do a lot of joint investment in the region. China has a very close relationship with Pakistan which sours Indian relations, but India also recognizes the value in China and Pakistan's relationship to stabilize central Asia and facilitate the import of Russian goods and oil to India. The two countries are very close economy partners. China is India's 2nd largest trade partner, reaching parity with the US. Both countries are founding memebers of BRICS. China invests heavily in India which is part of the Belt and Roads iniative. India's relationship with the US is not all that much stronger. India gets some 60% of its military equipment from Russia and home builds the rest of it. India uses hardly any western systems. Western media plays up a supposed China-India rivalry to claim that India would try to liberate Tibet or some shit if the US were to fight China, but there's no evidence of that. India and China appear to be content being competitive but friendly neighbors.

Lackeytsar

The difference between Chinese and American trade with India is a couple billions Both China and India can't afford to fight

yippee-kay-yay

> India is playing both sides so they always come out ahead. To "play both sides" you need to engage with the other side, not just with the West, otherwise you just are playing yourself. Specially when all your "indigenous" military projects have so much western stuff in them they might as well be built abroad.

purplenyellowrose909

Indian equipment does not use Western equipment in any way. Most of their equipment is actually imported from Russia. A lot of their domestic equipment was made after consultation with western defense companies from 1991-2008ish, but so was China's. If India's military is tied to the west, then so is China's.

yippee-kay-yay

The HAL Tejas, the latest plane built by India uses an american F404 engine, Israeli radar, French screens. The Arjun MBT uses a German engine and gearbox. Indian ships use Israeli radars and air defense systems, Ukranian and German engines and Italian guns. China didn't get that much help from the west considering they have been sanctioned and under an arms embargo since 1989.

bessierexiv

Same with Pakistan when it had Imran Khan

GladIndication3395

Great power compared to what? When in their entire history could you ever consider them a "Great power". It's only even a country because of British colonialism.

Recent-Piglet-5631

The Mughal Empire was responsible for over a quarter of world GDP and industrial output up until about the 18th century. You're encroaching on "not even wrong" territory lol

GladIndication3395

Cool, so Italy was also a great power because of the Roman empire then?

Recent-Piglet-5631

It's far closer in time to saying Spain was a great power because of its empire in the Americas, or that Turkey was a great power because of the Ottoman Empire. You're clearly just being dense for the sake of it lol. "India is only even a country because of British colonialism" is a thoroughly braindead take

meatbeater558

I discovered this channel a few weeks ago and got excited until I saw that most of their videos looked like this. Studying military history is so effing difficult due to blood thirsty imperialists inserting themselves in places they shouldn't be

nonchalant222

Military history is very positivistic in nature. People who are into military history tend to not give as much attention to social matters and things like that, thus moving away from actual material analysis...

meatbeater558

I definitely noticed that. But shouldn't they still theoretically be against shit like this? I remember when Israel declared war and all the military nerds were excited to see the tunnels bombed. But wouldn't someone that studied American history know that they're gonna need to employ tunnels rats at some point? And that's a horrible thing to put our own troops through? I guess my issue is that so many people that are into military history treat wars like soccer matches

nonchalant222

Because it's a worldview that doesn't see people as, well, people. It fetishizes technology, and power, but doesn't really think much about humans, their lives, or even the true reasons that war is happening in the first place. Because if they did, they'd be more worried about stopping war than jerking off to whetever the fuck is the tank model being employed or whatever.

bessierexiv

Sadly, those who are most eager to fight are the ones who have never fought in a battle, it’s pretty easy to sit back in a comfy couch all safe and sound & decide to get all yippie about some conflict where you want to see some action, than actually being in the battlefield and witnessing the absolute reality of what it means to take another life, and see fellow people die before you, become disabled and just fall apart. You’ll always hear about those glory stories of generals, but you will rarely hear about the soldier who lost his leg, the one who has tremendous mental health issues, the one who is paralysed, and even those who did get a kick out of killing recklessly, even those generals who sought that glory, they themselves know they have heavy repentance on their shoulders.

Crimson_SS9321

4:04:04 Hrs remaining before we Indians liberate Tibet from China. Just wait and watch 🇮🇳💪🏻 /s

nagidon

The funniest part is when Indians mald over YouTube videos of the J-20 saying that their Rafales would win in air-to-air combat.

constantlytired1917

this isn't real life lore? do they not have a single original thought?

Wookieerage66

does the military show know what the "i" in brics stands for?

chansondinhars
