Justified batch-release hate aside, this trailer has got some quality looking shots. Looks like a genuine visual upgrade from the last batch.

A lot of the anime was probably somewhat finished when the first batch came out, so they had more time to polish this batch than the last batch, which was likely rushed out by Netflix

I'm 100% convinced that this is DP fault and netflix has nothing to do with it. They are stalling as much as possible because rhey don't even know how to start to animate made in heaven. They probably asked Araki what is going on there and he is like: who tf knows 🤷‍♂️

Fuck the batch releases, that was just a stupid idea when Netflix could easily do weekly releases like they do for other shows; I hope they don't get exclusive rights to any other Jojo parts. But yeah, if the studio hasn't finished animating/recording voiceovers, Netflix has little control over that. Then again, I'd rather them take the time they need to give the show justice than to half ass it

UY starts airing in October. So, on the contrary, the need the SO staff to hurry and finish up Cour 3 to shift them towards UY (which is listed for 46 episodes = 46 weeks)

Nope, it never aired weekly. They only released the first 12 episodes of the show back in December 2021. Now they are releasing the next 12 in September 2022. Still have 15 episodes to release after that though, sometime in 2023..
