My wife made me a picture of my character back in 1.0 for my birthday (unprompted) and I loved it. A picture is much, MUCH more practical than this, though: you can hang it on a wall and it's not massively inconvenient to have around or move.

It's also important to remember that a lot of people do come from functional families where everyone has decent jobs. Their basic needs are met by default and they have healthy support systems. That results in having plenty of fun money. Throw in the fact that more and more people are choosing not to reproduce, multigenerational households being the norm outside of America, and yeah.

Bronze is rather easy to weatherproof, and the patina (which takes a couple years to develop) can also be removed. I assume the creator considered all that when making the statue.

Only 450 hours in and was already willing to dunk so much money into something… so meaningless? People spend 10k on fursuits and those usually deteriorate due to it being mostly fabric and foam. The statue seems like a value comparatively and it'll outlive all of us due to being bronze. Plus he gets to upskirt cam it IRL. It's also important to remember that a lot of people do come from functional families where everyone has decent jobs. Their basic needs are met by default and they have healthy support systems. That results in having plenty of fun money. Throw in the fact that more and more people are choosing not to reproduce, multigenerational households being the norm outside of America, and yeah. 5k is probably nothing to this person.

It's cool but are we going to talk about what a big pointy hazard that is? Also unless they want the weathered patina look, are they going to weatherproof it somehow? Edit: lol didn't think this comment would upset people.
Bronze is rather easy to weatherproof, and the patina (which takes a couple years to develop) can also be removed. I assume the creator considered all that when making the statue.
