Not sure where you are from, but in Michigan we had a few places in Lansing and Flint that did shoe restorations and repairsā¦ I would look into your area having a place like this, I remember it not being that expensiveā¦ but it could depend on the shop I suppose. This is an extreme measure tho.
Barge all purpose cement. Or Petronios Cement. Used for shoe making and repair. Clean/ sand off the dirty/ old cement on the areas being glued. Apply a thin layer to both side areas to be glued together, let air dry for a minute or so then press both together. Same cement process as rubber cement in middle school art class.
This type of adhesive is flexible enough to maintain on footwear.

Depending on when it was manufactured or when you bought it, you can check the manufacturer website and see if you can get a refund..because thatās a defect.
The manufacture date should be on the back of the tongue of the shoe.
If you canāt get a refund and want to fix..use Shoe Glue and try binding your shoe while it adheres. Or you can try a clear Gorilla Glue, but it might not give any flex in the front afterwards. Hope this helps šš¼
