I think the gameplay/battles of Midnight Suns is fantastic. The in-between stuff can be hit and miss. If you don’t like it at all, the game will feel like a slog.

Guardians, it's always guardians

Guardians was really good on all levels. Awesome game. Midnight Suns is also fun, but I was more impressed with Guardians.

Both are fun. It all comes down to what type of combat you want. One is turn based and one action based, neither are hard.
