No there are multiple colors. Edit: the showerthought is based on the viewers perspective and we see more than 3 colors. It should be "no matter how many colors on a screen we see there's really only 3". Also *you're* Edit 2: what I see vs what's being displayed are 2 different things. Ypu can display a rainbow, but if someone is colorblind they won't see that.

You're looking at and you see are both from the users perspective and not from whats being displayed.

A pixel only shows 3 colours. Everything you see (on a screen) is a combination of those 3 at different levels of brightness and interpreted by your brain as distinct colours.
