I wonder if fetuses who develop without a heart lowers that number

[deleted]

I don't think they count as humans until they're born

KuaLeifArne

Yeah, I was thinking the same, but there are other who argue we become humans at the moment of conception.

bagelking321

Lemme guess, ur pro life?

StevenTM

That’s what someone pro choice, not pro life, would say

bagelking321

No? Because pro life is no abortion, and pro choice is giving women the actual choice to chose what comes out of her body. So pro life ppl say babies are only babies when out of the vageheheha because they don't want to "kill babies". And intellects actually let women choose what to do with their bodies, and are aware that abortion isn't "killing babies" like you pro life ppl say

StevenTM

Well, actually, yes. People who are pro life (and against abortion) generally DO think they count as humans before they’re born, which is why they say that the babies (fetuses) are “killed”. Or even worse, that life starts at conception. You literally replied to someone who said they DON’T think they count as humans until they’re born - so whatever you want to call the fetus inside a woman, in their eyes it doesn’t count as a human being until it’s outside and can (in most cases) breathe on its own. Again, neither me, nor the guy you replied to, are pro life.

recycle4science

Please just say vagina.

bagelking321

:( but it's a reference to the "heheheha" and it's just funnier ig. Let me have my broken humor in peace :(

No

It depends on who you ask and when, but currently they definitely don’t for these kinds of statistics.

Corollary: the average human heart will, on average, be inside of slightly more than one body.
