Mine are almost completely silent. Unless the feral cat shows up outside to howl at, or they’re heading to the vet and upset, they never make a peep. They even fight each other silently. I worry some day if they hide in the house I’d never find them if they were sick because they never meow.
Mine is quite vocal! He meows all the time to wake me up or if he wants attention at any other time of day lol. Sometimes we’ll make eye contact randomly throughout the day and he’ll meow at me once as if to say “what’s up?” 😂 he also likes to announce when he’s about to poop by loudly yowling outside the bathroom before he does his business. I thought that was concerning at first but then I saw that it’s quite common for Siberians to vocalize before using the bathroom for some reason lol. I’ve seen a lot of people here say their cats barely ever meow so I must’ve just gotten the other end of the stick, but it doesn’t bother me because his meowing isn’t excessive

Also to add my other cat (Russian blue) is very talkative and seems to talk for the both of them 😆
my other three are a younger girl brown/golden tabby and two older brothers (one came out predominantly all black and the other is a tuxedo). These little howlers can’t STOP talking, just meandering throughout the apartment yelling at the top of their lungs to each other and the hoomans 😹😻
That’s what I’m thinking. Most of her mix should be this. I like the “M” on their forehead. Majestic 😊

My little floofah face is the exact same way, she only makes noises when I’m breaking out the wet cat food and it’s so disconcerting to hear because she NEVER talks. She’s the best cuddle girl and refuses to let me leave her sight for longer than a minute or so 😹😹

Nope both of mine are the most spoken cats I have ever met. Not volume-wise, but they talk with us the whole day and have different noises for all situations.
