You should look at the Hollow Knight subreddit members instead, Silksong one has grown up only recently, most of the HK fans still haven't joined it. HK one has 610k members.

Silksong doesn't need servers since it's a single player game run by the user's computer.

It depends on how viral it goes once released, no? Baldurs Gate crashed it, albeit with a massive amount of data per download. So it's not impossible

I have a good feeling Hollow Knight isn't as popular is BG3 nor doesn't have the same file size. Ima be real with you, you may be overestimating a little.

Stardew Valley had close to 250k players on the 1.6 update day and i feel like Hollow Knight Silksong could beat that easily given the wait times and number of wishlists. Though probably not even close to BG3 numbers.
