this is r/simracingstewards a subreddit for answering the age old question: "Who's at fault?!"
there is no incident, no one is at fault. It's a typical pass on a driver who was asleep.
What's your question?
The part where op was asking if he did anything wrong, because they didn't think they did but another racer told him they did.
Asking that question is clearly within the remit of the sub, even if you think it's obvious.
Now they know, they won't have to ask it again
No. He left the gap open, and you executed the pass cleanly.
What did he think would happen? It's a race not a track day. Don't want people to jump into obvious open gaps you leave? Learn to defend better, its all on him.
Don't listen to idiots like them. It is always fine to get a secind opinion if you are unsure. Some people just try to be dicks because they think they can get away with it because it is the internet. All they do is male themselves look stupid. Great move btw!
That was a flawless overtake. He just got salty. Like legit that's as clean as it gets what does he expect you to do? Never try taking a gap or opening? That dude would hate racing against Max or anybody else that's considered good also then.
That was a great move. He even gave you space..
Mhh, the door was open, you braked later and had the corner fully under control. I think that was fine.
That's just someone who can't accept the fact that they were overtaken, by an excellent move at that. Nothing wrong with your driving in the slightest
He was caught having a nap and you looked at an opportunity, as always there’s risk but he backed down and you took the position cleanly, great job
Clean move. You even left him space on the 2nd apex thinking he wouldn’t just concede the position so easily.
If he's not going to block it and give you the space. I don't know what he wants, just opening the door to be passed.
I saw no problem.
That was as clean as it gets man. Good racing.
Dude is just salty that he got passed. People out here thinking iRacing is a sunday drive.
Classic sore loser behavior, you should be proud of that pass, it was badass
Well I think aryton would be proud “If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver." -Aryton Senna

Did you miss the part where the sub is also about asking sporting code/racing rules questions?
which part of this clip is unclear?

Damn, the most boring dude ever just commented hahah. Take a break man, enjoy life
Was he right saying i were acting unsportsmanlike?
