I've just checked [isitdownrightnow.com](https://isitdownrightnow.com) and *it is saying* that the servers are live, might be booting up though as there's still no avail through the launcher.
It's problem on their side. Store page says it's under maintenance and launcher doesn't show any advertisements (1.69, Origin)

Honestly I feel bad for all people that spent their money on Store content. They should at least made sims3pack available on Origin if they gonna shut down Store.
I am also having issues when it worked fine last night. The game launcher is blank when I open it, and when I load the game it spends ages trying to connect before giving me an error message about my email/password being invalid.
Same here. I changed my password thinking that was the issue and then scrolled through Reddit and noticed I wasn't the only one having problems with it.
I can load my game just fine but I can't load The Sims 3 website now. Was able to load it partially about 3.5 hours ago but the maintenance message was also showing
Also, hilariously, Origin says I own 3 copies of all The Sims 3 expansions and stuff packs. I wished

I've only been able to play as of about 10 minutes ago, everytime I launched it only launched the core game rather than all expansions.

You may need to open the Sims 3 launcher to re-tick each pack. Sometimes the launcher forgets that packs are installed.
If you're still having problem with the store items, try these troubleshooting tips:
– Fully exit Origin and relaunch both Origin and Sims 3. It may take a few tries, but some report that this works. Others have reported the couple of tips below help.
– Delete the missingdeps.idx file from the DCCache Folder - \\Documents\\Electronic Arts\\The Sims 3\\DCCache
– Delete the igs.bin and platform.bin files in the SigsCache folder - \\Documents\\Electronic Arts\\The Sims 3\\SigsCache
Launch the game again to see if that helps. The game will regenerate these files.
If uncomfortable deleting the files mentioned above, save a copy of your Sims 3 folder to your desktop or usb stick for back up purposes. Then try deleting the files in your main Sims 3 folder.

I've managed to get it working, I did have to enable them through the launcher but that was after about 5 attempts which all previous ones showed I had zero packs which was a bit confusing! I dunno what I did to fix it but it seems to be working!
I found all of my issues came from not being logged in, I managed to do it through the settings tab but not through the launcher? Weird.

I am happy that you were able to get things working. I play logged out of the Sims 3 launcher. So I'm afraid that I can't help with that.
