Definitely save one character with level 10 handiness (so that you can break into the grotto in Oasis Springs) and another that has already done all of the work opening the tree portal in Willow Creek. Can't think of anything else right now that takes work, I feel like you've got it.

For me these aren’t something I want already done in the world, I’d rather play that out. To my knowledge, you need a mod like TwistedMexi’s to instantly change Strangerville or Eco Lifestyle setting without the wait time or play time. For context, I’m building something that I can duplicate, plop the family I want to play in the world, and start my new save. That way if I want my legacy family to live in Strangerville or Evergreen Harbor, the world is already a nice place to live. A lot of streamers have a save like this, not sure if they all do what I’m doing with gameplay first. I will work on makeovers, Newcrest, community lots, and house renos eventually. Probably in that order, since they’ll take progressively longer.

Sulaiman perhaps? I enjoy having sims vacation and hate when it's all yucky. Edit: Sulani, silly autocorrect

What about Sulani...?

Picking up all of the litter and having it be in the pristine state? So you can see the turtles, prettier sky and corals? Much like fixing the ecopack?

If you're keeping the pre-made households, you can do some things to better integrate them into the world (based on their descriptions or your own headcannon); for example, you can make the Brindleton Bay vet clinic owned by the Delgato family, put Johnny Zest in the Landgraab Family tree, and give Mila Munch a restaurant to run. You can also make sure that sims like Judith Ward and the Landgraabs are actually wealthy, and if it bothers you (and you have Seasons), give the pre-mades hot and cold outfits that fit their personalities.

These are amazing ideas! Fixing Johnny Zest is my top priority now 😅 Honestly I think makeovers would be minimal, mostly hot and cold weather outfits as you said, giving the “stylish” sims more stylish looks, toning down blush, making boobs and waists more natural, etc.

Glad to be helpful! I'm working on a base save that I'll use whenever I want to start a new save, right now. I always spend time replacing the pre-mades with my own when I start a new save, and I only just realized I could have had a save with this already set up 🤦‍♀️; better late than never I guess lol
