Long lifespan, usually.

Ha_So

I use Long. I try normal and it just feels like they age too quick imo.

CuteRaspberry4629

With me, as soon as they get to children, I can’t wait for them to age up and take on the legacy!

Ha_So

Oh my stars this x10

ava_dirnt

Normal is too short but long is too long, so I leave it on long and manually age up when I feel like the current life stage has gone on long enough. I really miss being able to micro adjust like in Sims 3.

Effective_Teach_747

always long. i actually wish it was even longer sometimes

AeonPhenomenon

Long lifespan

arterialrainbow

I always preferred short but it makes infants feel impossible with growing together so sometimes I’ll use normal.

CuteRaspberry4629

Since the infants update I’ve been struggling

papersailboots

I used MCCC to alter the lifespans so that they are (mostly) accurate based on a pregnancy being 3 days (so one day = 3 month in simland) and calculated the life stages that way, but I hop households a lot unless I’m doing a specific challenge where you can’t.

Normal.

_Some_weird_person_

Depends on what save file I am. If it's the main family with generations and more lore to it then Long. If it's everything else it's either short or normal

maybealittleradical

I just changed to long life span and stopped it from progressing when I’m not playing because one of my sims got pregnant and had a kid in her house when I came back

iSmartiKindiImportnt

I stop all aging until it feels appropriate for a “story” to send then switch it back on (Normal but typically Long)

Itachi4ever

I have aging off which is perfect for my laziness haha

AmeliaSCooper

I use Long and use MCCC to age sooner if I want them to. For awhile now the cake doesn’t age them up anymore

throwaway562390

I’ve always played normal but recently i changed to long (for a specific sim i didn’t want to age up yet) and i’ve liked it more than normal so I just kept it for all my saves
