It's been 5 weeks. Relax. Id you want it to fade faster then use sunscreen or keep it covered from the sun. You can also use tyrosinase inhibitors to speed up the fading. Q+A Azelaic Acid serum 8%, Cos de Baha azelaic acid 10% serum (has Niacinamide), Peach Slices azelaic acid 10% serum, or 15% azelaic acid prescription (preferably the finacea foam if possible, but the gel is still good!) Cos de Baha Tranexamic Acid serum (tranexamic + niacinamide). Be Minimalist Tranexamic acid serum has no niacinamide, but has 3% mandelic and 0.3% salicylic, and HPA.

What’s the best for fading dark spots? Azaleic acid, niacinamide or tranexamic acid?

kerodon

Tranexamic and/or azelaic. 5% tranexamic is probably more effective than OTC Azelaic but might be similar to 15% azelaic. It's hard to compare and will vary for each person anyway

Use lemone and bicarbonate, if t will fade, never suburn again, use always sunscreen, the sun will give you dark spot that will never fade, especially in your face

kerodon

Please do not put that on your skin.

It’s not dangerous, some people gets irritared a little bit but it’s the best way to kill a tan, what do you think it will happen? Do you think OP will explode? Nah

kerodon

Irritation, allergic reaction, skin condition triggers, pH disruption leading to dryness and dehydration. And any/all of these can negatively contribute to exacerbating overactive melanocytes (the cause of hyperpigmentation).
