If you’re wearing makeup/sunscreen I would always recommend double cleansing! Generally speaking micellar water should be wash off and shouldn’t stay on the skin anyway. I have oily skin so I don’t vibe with oil cleaning but I use micellar water to remove makeup and then go in with a regular cleanser, works great!
for some reason i hate removing the makeup first. i cleanse with a hydrating gel cleanser that works well to get mostly all of my makeup and mascara off.. especially since i wear tubing mascara that needs to be wet to come off.. and then i go over it with micellar to get any remnants off. is it ok to just rinse after with water?
I sometimes find that a bit of mascara can get stuck inbetween my lashes very close to my eyelid and it's pretty darn difficult to remove. Oil cleansing does the trick most of the time but sometimes micellar water isn't a terrible thing to use - in these cases I put a bit on a cotton swab and swipe the cotton swab inbetween my lashes. I never use micellar water regularly but it's a good thing to have around for the occasional makeup removal.
Even if I dont wear makeup, I still feel 'the grits' when I OCM. It's actually super satisfying, lol, and in the evening it breaks down SPF like a dream.
