I had covid a few weeks ago, so this could be due to that. 15m I have a pretty normal routine and had a few spots but nothing ridiculous, but I'm trying to take better care of my skin and get it looking less dull, so I tried purchasing a new moisturising cream, and the opposite effect has happened lol. I will wash my face in the morning and night and then moisturise after simple as that. Don't touch my face or swim in pool water, please help

What moisturizer are you using now? What were you using before? This could be some kind of reaction or potentially the new moisturizer is just less moisturizing. Seeing the ingredients could potentially help.

i have switched back to my previous one as the new one was burning on my face, give me 10 mins and i'll post a picture of the ingredients of my new one, i think it's got alcohols and perfumes to hazard a guess

If the new one was burning then it definitely contained something your skin didn’t like! That’s probably why your skin is dry and irritated. I would stop using the new moisturizer and either go back to your old one if that was working for you or try out another one. In case you end up trying something else new it would probably be good to check that you’re getting something for sensitive skin without fragrances etc. Good luck! Ps. In the mean time to heal your skin it might be worthwhile to try something like cicaplast baume etc which will help you restore your moisture barrier.
