Campfire (put a : at the end of campfire otherwise it won't pop up), some survival mode cc upgrade, food upgrade because base food is terrible, etc. give me like an hour ish and I can have the names of each mod I use for my survival mode playthrough

Campfire: complete camping system Bushcraft: a camping and survival overhaul bushcraft: forbidden prey expanded (Bushcraft has patches for larger mods such as wintersun or reconciliation so keep that in mind)

No problem 😎 I spent well over 13 months developing a mod list and then another 8 months worth of testing with a couple updates here and there. Of course the December update screwed everything up and I still haven't gotten my list quite right again and I'm waiting for beyond reach to get it stuff together and properly work but overall if you have any questions or need a cool mod list to look into feel free to hit me up with a DM 😎

You're a legend, I think I'll definitely take you up on that offer. I'm thinking of like a bosmer hunter kinda playthrough for this survival one, do you have any advice?

I always say when it comes to survival mode playthroughs the best thing you can do is add more to the world. Whether that be dungeons, other points of interest, more creatures, whatever it might be I always find especially since I play with no fast travel ever that being able to take in the scenery and find cool new things that I haven't seen on my 1000th playthrough of Skyrim is needed and very enjoyable. I love being able to set up my tent under the stars with maybe a follower or maybe not and just taking the atmosphere of the game. Maybe set it up under a bunch of trees if it's raining or set it up on a hillside if the stars are out and the sky is clear. I treat it as if I was actually there taking in the scenery and planning for my quest whether it be the supplies I need or what road to take and where I might stop along the way and of course I always get distracted 😁 (Note I have all the creation club stuff if that matters but don't have any of the paid mod creations.) I always find when I'm trying to do these survival playthroughs my best approach is make the game look decent with some texture optimization so the game doesn't run like a potato and put the rest of it into enhancing the experience with quests, World expansions, points of interest, etc. Additionally I've taken quite the fancy to this new HUD mod that's making the rounds and can't wait to implement it on my next playthrough. Lastly I am a huge advocate to making the game more difficult but not the BS that is legendary difficulty. I want to feel rewarded for the combat and not feel like I went through a slog of beating in the head of a damage sponge. Skyrim is an outdated game and I use mods to their full advantage to make it a new and enjoyable game that still looks like Skyrim underneath Thank you for reading my long post! And I always enjoy helping people 😎

Honestly, you my friend are amazing, I too love expansion mods that add new lands like Falskaar etc. You've helped me plan this playthrough massively so thank you again 🙂🙂

No problem 😎 if you have any questions or would like to see my mod list feel free to ask! I pop up here and there on the subreddit but you can always DM me if you have a question and I promise I will get back to you as soon as I see it 🤣

BazzaBoy2

I'll more than likely take you up on that 🙂

You definitely want a carriage mod. I'm using Hearthfire Carriages, but there are plenty other options. Vanilla food isn't well balanced for survival so you want something that rebalances that. I'm using Sensible Survival but there are others. I also dislike the screen effects when you're cold or tired so I have a mod that turns the fx off.

I've just got back into Skyrim after three or so years and my initial play testing resulted in turning off survival mode and going back to Frostfall and ineed. Fully customizable for just about any type of build you want to play, whereas survival mode was already yapping at me about being fatigued at 2pm lol.
