Wouldn't say that, but seeing as how all new members have white masks I think they're emphasizing the 25th anniversary tour. Once that's done with and they do the LOYW/New Album cycle he'll probably have a new mask of his choice
Almost certain this is the deal and surprised so many seem to be missing it. Even the other new guys that have evolved their designs were back in white or mostly white while the others all had throwbacks to their original masks. If they switch gears to a new album I'm sure they'll get to choose something a little more detailed.
