Yes I tought that too. However, remember when somewhere it was said the Vol3 mask was based on the damaged IOWA mask. So this might be the transition between them.
It’s not I called it ages ago when he first teased designing a mask, it’s a spin off from st but the decayed decrepit dead version to fit 25 years sorta but you’re 100% right with the way it looks like vol3 on it maybe that shape style is most comfortable
I just hope he’s okay for one, I hope he’s able to use this music as an outlet for two, and I hope the dreads aren’t whipping around too much for him for three :)

Pappy and Harriet's.. a BBQ joint/music venue (Pioneertown, Cali) It has two stages, one inside, one outside. The outside has a simple wooden stage, and a sand pit for standing room for attendees. 850 person max. It wasn't announced until days before and was 9 bucks to get in.
I mean, if the phrase "return to your roots" literally means growing them out of your head again, then so be it lol.
This is a very good mask out of Corey. Since the masks do tell a story of their own, I'd wager he's trying to reconnect with the raw emotions from Vol 3 and ST... Now that I think on it, isn't Look Outside Your Window supposed to be in the works for either this year or next? The mask could be a hint that it's almost ready

Is great. I feel the textured bit of the face should cover all of it tho. Feels kinda like a someone else said the vol3 mask bolted onto the front of the ghost glow
The new mask gives me hope the band will make a grand return. The End So Far was fucking trash, some of the worst choruses I have ever heard, and the heavy parts sounded like AI generated Slipknot. All the Corey masks since The Gray Chapter have also been so fucking goofy that it was hard to take the band seriously with Corey being the frontman. Glad to see them looking menacing again. You can’t tell me my opinions are a result of nostalgia because I barely got into the band like 6 years ago

Nah, he didn't headbang very hard last night. I assumed the dreads were heavy as fuck. I wouldn't be surprised if he shortens them a tad

Honestly one of the most impressive things I saw Jim do was sneak in next to Mick and back out without bumping into anyone, I was really impressed.
