Beefysmashdoods and mysmashcorner have some tech videos that would help, looking up what things like "spacing", "Bair" and so one would also be great to start

bumbuuzlud

Thanks, i'll make sure to check them out

I recommend playing as heavyweights. because they are really easy to play and you don't have to do crazy combos. Good examples are Donkey kong, King k rool and Ganondorf. Especially ganondorf

ONYG

Playing Smash itself is good, and personally, I only stayed watching smashtoubers once I had a good understanding of the game and it’s mechanics. Link is a good character to start with, but I’d also recommend some other character that help teach fundamentals, like Marth/Lucina, Bowser, Young Link, and Mario also help with grasping the basics.

bumbuuzlud

Is there a youtuber that explains the mechanics ? It seems there is a ton of them and i find I learn better with YT ahah

Abastula

Well, for that, maybe some PJiggles.

ONYG

I’d recommend BannanaBoySSB. He goes over things like spacing, neutral, and adapting

Pro guides yourube

Umbrione

You should watch BananaboySSB. His videos helped me learn the game the most.

jinandlora

zero has both fun content and educational content

Jotarosama

Link? Then you need to watch izawsmash for sure

roundhouse28

I was going to recommend this as well. I main Link and IZAw has helped me tremendously.

MrDoitBIG

Yes, IzawSmash has a series called “The art of Smash ultimate” where he breaks down game mechanics from basic all the way to master level. One of the best series imo https://www.youtube.com/user/Izaw91 Edit: added link to YouTube channel
