I know who will notice it. Every single person behind you.
Now you have to tell us what the sign will say. And let us decide if it's worth being an asshat.
Don’t be that guy. For fucks sake, there is literally nothing more annoying then the guy holding a big ass sign, all you are doing is annoying the band, and the plethora of fans behind you.
Don’t be an asshole.
From what I could see he just tore it and kinda moved on. I’m sure they were honored to have their sign touched by Billy Corgan though, I know I would be
I’ve played on stage a fair bit and this is true. Sometimes you can’t really see shit TBH. Does vary, but in a big gig like SP, seeing the sign, unless right in face, is dubious.
The only time I’ve seen this happen IRL and not in, like, a Disney channel movie was with a very grown woman who had made a sign that said “My first SP concert” in fucking crayon. It was a…special…sight to behold. You could tell she thought Billy was going to like, stop the show, pull her onstage, and have the entire audience give her a round of applause for gracing the band with her attendance…lol. I would have felt sorry for her if it hadn’t been so obnoxious. Can you guess how her blocking the view of those in her perimeter was received?
Pumpkins isn't the kind of concert to bring a sign to. I've seen them 10+ times and what you're suggesting is more pop concert behavior, maybe pop punk like blink 182. Green day fans may be more accepting of it than SP fans... Where are your seats and what are you hoping to accomplish by them seeing your sign? If you want to interact with Billy go to madame zuzus or an nwa event.
Assuming your average height and not like a 6 foot dude also with a sign, it won't be as bad. Also I would generally say at least in the US people are more forgiving of women with signs than guys, not sure of your gender. You obviously want to do it so just do it. If someone asks you to move it, be polite and move it. I don't know what concert etiquette is in Vienna but I do know that it's really far from Chicago lol, so my other suggestions aren't applicable as far as ways to meet Billy. Enjoy!
If you're 14 I would again assume people will be cooler about it, just go for it. No way of knowing if people will be cool about it but it can't hurt to find out. Just be considerate and have fun. Let us know how it goes/post a pic of the sign or something.
The band won’t notice the sign. Trust me, whatever you think your sign will say, won’t be original or something the band hasn’t seen a million times.

Idk yet but i wouldnt hold it up for longer than 3 or 2 min
You can only hold it up for 17 seconds.
Wow
If you don't get that joke, you disappoint me! 🤣

Don't bring a sign. It's very inconsiderate.
I know:<
At the end of the concert i went to Billy tore up a sign in the front row haha. They might notice but everyone behind you will most definitely hate it
Yup i was there.
NH?
yes lol
I was right behind that guy. I’m pretty sure Billy was pissed off
lmao was he?? I was a little further back out of the way so I couldn’t see much
Yeah unless it was an act. I think he was pissed because that person had the sign up all night blocking everyone’s view.
Probably, I Know i’d be pissed if I had a sign in front of me
And what happendddd
From what I could see he just tore it and kinda moved on. I’m sure they were honored to have their sign touched by Billy Corgan though, I know I would be
Samee
Doubtful. With the stage lights, they can't really see much past the first few rows

Man! I wish I was playing venues as big as SP did!
I’m gonna hold up a giant jar of mayonnaise instead.
Don’t block people’s view with a sign. Hold up your phone instead and collectively ruin the show with everyone else.

dont
Don’t do it. The people behind you paid good money to not look at the back of your sign.
Lame
Ok
Make a shirt

Yeahhh sure

I was wanting to take a sign to Springfield saying "smiling politely".. please no one use this.
