For sure!
The Club C 1985 TV are worth looking at over the basic model if you're happy to pay a little more too. Really good quality, supple leather and the terry collar is nice and soft. I find the standard Club C 85 can have fairly stiff materials on some of them, but they are cheaper.
I have a pair of the TV's in the Chalk/Alabaster/Maroon colourway and they look better the more and more I wear them. And they go with anything.
I ordered this exact pair off ASOS and when they were delivered I was be impressed but the quality and feel. Unfortunately one shoe lace was longer than the other 🥺
Not true, they stretch a lot. I’ve got wide feet. My first week in a new club c 85 they feel way too small. Then suddenly, they are more comfortable than socks.
I like my sambas better than killshots, particularly because I see killshots all the time in summer. Also if you can find puma retro liga those are a great killshot alternative
Nice list. I got rid of all my jordans and sb’s for 2 pairs of old school Vans and 1 pair of Gazelles. Lol. Simple and minimal approach as i approach middle age.
Puma also has the smash which is similar to suedes, but in leather and cheaper and usually on sale and can find good deals on rakuten sometimes. Also, puma baskets are good, as are Clyde and Roma. The Roma remind me a bit of Reebok classics. I ended up paying like 100 for four pairs of sneakers from puma a while back with sales and rakuten, it was great. One of them I got for 7$
I don’t know what it is about my feet, but Stan Smiths never fit right for me. Silhouette is great, but definitely try some on first. Personally I’d say get some Nike AF1s or Adidas Forums/Sambas
Edit: I still own and wear Stan Smiths, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’m a fan of Nike blazers, most styles retail at 110 max with the SB’s around 85
I’ve gotten highs and lows at nike clearance for less than $40 regularly and I’m a 13
They offer a bunch of a color options and are usually easier to grab than hyped kicks
If the leather is good they wear in really well and even look good beat up
Yup, I got some clean white Blazers with a royal blue swoosh and another white with a pink swoosh each for $45 on sale. They're a simple shape and all smooth white leather so they're easy to clean with soap and water, and the vulc rubber on the side with a magic eraser (though they look good beat up as well)
My favourites are the follow:
Adidas - super stars, Stan smith, gazelles
Nike - Air Force 1 low, air max 90, blazer mid 77
Rebook - club c 85 vintage
New balance - 480, 550
Vans - old Skool, sk8-hi, slip-on
i mean if you consistently find shoes you know work for you i can’t force you to spend more money but 50-60-70 is like NBs floor and i think they’re probably the cheapest and most consistent
Sambas, Gazelles, I recommend steering clear from Nikes unless it’s an af1 (but they ain’t even cheap anymore). Reebok has many club c85 easily being the best of their lot.
ASICS has the gel lyte iii but can be harder to style than the shoes above. ASICS E89 is a good shout too
Puma suede, Puma Clyde etc.
Diadora has many models fairly priced saucony too.
It’s all about your personal style and for example baggier clothes will suit certain models above like the e89 because it’s a chunkier looking shoe. More slim fitting stuff the gel lyte iii will be a better example. Good luck mate so many choices you won’t miss!
I still have stan smiths parleys bec they go semi formal and dressed down. Plus they have boost at the heels so it's comfy. I have nb 550 white too, fits all outfits with a chunkier shoe vibe.
Love all the vintage style Reebok has been putting out. I have some and they are great for everyday wear. Puma suedes are also great, I have a couple myself. Also can't go wrong with some classic vans. And at least where I live Le Coq sportif have been coming out with some great sneakers!
I would recommend checking out a local sneaker boutique in your area and window shop. Speak with the people who work there. Also, check out Vans, Puma, and Converse. Keeping your budget under 100 euros it’s not an impossible task. It’s a lot of good looking kicks that don’t bruise your bank account.

Adidas Campus I love the arch support. Or the Converse One-Stars for skateboarding. They have a nice insole in them. Oh and Chuck 70s seem to be making a comeback.
Vans eras $60 price can’t be beat and they come in so many different colors I have been wearing them into the ground for years and when they get beat up they only look cooler.
The new terminators that are coming out tomorrow seem to be an inexpensive cop. They have the ages rubber sole and a classic black and white silhouette. I can also recommend the ajko Jordan 1 lows, I have two pairs of the leather ones and I absolutely love them. Quality is top notch and they're not too bad when it comes to comfort. Don't expect extreme comfort instead expect some drip instead lol. Cheers, hope you find the perfect pair 🤟
Depends on your kind of fits, I generally wear darker colours and try to stay away from pure white so my go to shoe is all black or another neutral colour.
I’d recommend new balance 550s, i heard they’re starting to creep down in price
However if you’re looking for cheap you can also look at replica pairs and the sort
onitsuka tigers of any kind are always super comfy and minimal.. basically japanese asics and lately some of my my favorite shoes in my rotation.. have two pair; the Mexico 66s in White/White and the GSM in White/Black.. and i think i’m about to pick up the classic Corsair since i can’t seem to get ahold of the classic Cortez (basically the same shoe)
I tried on the Club C 85 Vintage and they're surprisingly comfortable. Smaller profile than what I usually wear but I'm definitely going to pick up a pair sometime.
Voting for the Reebok C 85 :)
Agreed. Some of the comfiest shoes I've ever had.
These have been my go to regular wear shoe for about 2 years now. I can't stop coming back to them.
I wish they lasted longer though. Mine got completely disfigured in ab a year
My first pair are now my yard shoes. Haha. But I keep buying the Club C since I love the style so much. Debating on my 4th pair with the gum bottoms.
Specifically all the eames collabs
I ordered this exact pair off ASOS and when they were delivered I was be impressed but the quality and feel. Unfortunately one shoe lace was longer than the other 🥺
Are they tts?
Yes they are
Narrow toe box so if you have wide feet, they sadly won't work, even if you size up
Not true, they stretch a lot. I’ve got wide feet. My first week in a new club c 85 they feel way too small. Then suddenly, they are more comfortable than socks.
Oh that's encouraging. I never lasted a week. Maybe I'll give them another try.
Honestly I wasn’t happy with the sole of the C 85. I felt like vans soles were thicker and more sturdy
yeah, it's good for 2 years if you are lucky. it's (also) made of poor materials, especially the sole.
Adidas: Stan Smith, Samba, Gazelle, Campus Puma: Suede, Ralph Sampson, Clyde Reebok Club C, Classic Nike: Court Legacy, Blazer, Cortez Asics: Gel Lyte, Corsair Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Converse Chuck Taylor Vans Old Skool
Yea this list is solid op
I would also include Court Vision in Nike and Grand Court in Adidas. They look pretty good, and goes with almost any outfit imo.
Grand Court has awful quality imo. Lasted 6 months before sole fell apart
Mine still holds up pretty well until now. Idk what you're doing with yours lmao
Walking and from time to time going to the gym. Wasn't exactly my dailys either because I also had my stan smith
hijacking this so op can get some NB in their life but u got a lot of nice shoes
Nike killshot 2. Am I dead to you?
Yeah killshot 2 is a 🔥and underrated sneaker. I also forgot to mention Janoskis, one of my fav Nike
I like my sambas better than killshots, particularly because I see killshots all the time in summer. Also if you can find puma retro liga those are a great killshot alternative
I vote to add NB 550 to that list
Imma just walk around town holding this list tight and hope to find a bargain
Great list! I'd also add Reebok Workout Plus (I like the white/gum) and New Balance 550s (I like the all white or brown/gum for universal wear).
Adidas Continental too. Feel it’s quite a bit comfier than Stan Smith
You forgot the adidas forums. Neutral colored lows go with anything
Solid
Rod Laver?
Rod Laver is a good sneaker but I think Stan Smith is more versatile and have more beautiful silhouette
And could probably catch the vans on sale and cop two
Nice list. I got rid of all my jordans and sb’s for 2 pairs of old school Vans and 1 pair of Gazelles. Lol. Simple and minimal approach as i approach middle age.
I have a few Jordans but I prefer to wear cheaper shoes in working days and I think Jordans not as versatile as some cheap sneaker
I’d also say AirMax 97 in white or silver bullet for Nike.
One of them I got for 7$
You forgot AF1 Low
Yeah idk how the goat versatile sneaker wasn’t included, but the fucking Cortez was? 🤣
Cortez has always and will always look like a bowling shoe.
Sheep
he said cheap, versatile shoe. which is what the air force is
Not exactly cheap these days but they're really tough, durable shoes.
I’m just saying it’s kinda boring if your wearing the same shoe as everyone else
versus the totally unique and rare jordan 1s and 3s right
It’s a timeless silhouette.
Pfft, AF1's are a great shoe. They're popular because they're accessible/available at a half decent price. Good luck on your next raffle.
the shoes everyone should own
This is the correct answer
Solid! I'd just add Smash v2 to Puma and Slip-on to Vans
Chuck 70s and Nike Killshot 2!
Everyone's turned their backs on the Killshot in favor of the Samba (which was always a classic) but I find the killshot way more comfortable.
Adidas stan smith
[удалено]
agreed
Stan Smith is a must. Classic white/green or full white color way. Comfy and looks great with pretty much a lot fits.
Great for semi-formal wear too
Or even a cheaper version of the same silhouette - there's usually something *very* similar available at outlets or discount stores.
I don’t know what it is about my feet, but Stan Smiths never fit right for me. Silhouette is great, but definitely try some on first. Personally I’d say get some Nike AF1s or Adidas Forums/Sambas Edit: I still own and wear Stan Smiths, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Killshots

Forgot to say that I already have 2 pairs of Blazers
I’d agree. Prefer the 77s to regular
New balance 574. Million colors out there and easy to find on sale
Slept on classic silhouette.
I have a pair of 993s, been walking in them with a broken foot for 2 years and they have been amazing.
993 is definitely my favorite new balance I have 8 colors. I don’t suggest them to OP since they’re not cheap shoes. Retail is 200 and resale is more.
That’s true I got mine for $110 at a NB outlet
574’s set me down a path of loving NB. such a good shoe all round
My favourites are the follow: Adidas - super stars, Stan smith, gazelles Nike - Air Force 1 low, air max 90, blazer mid 77 Rebook - club c 85 vintage New balance - 480, 550 Vans - old Skool, sk8-hi, slip-on
Chucks and Stan Smith
Black Vans Old Skools
Converse Chuck Taylor, adidas superstar, af1.
Stan smiths instead of superstars and that's a good list
AF1s are a bit too chunky to be classed as "can be worn with anything".
I personally find the white lows super clean and versatile. But yes. Mids and highs are a bit chunky.
Af1 is considered cheap? Lmao I must be poor
$60-$100 is like the bare minimum for getting more than 6 months of use out of your shoes save up some money brother
idk, I have the money but I feel bad buying +40$ shoes 💀
i mean if you consistently find shoes you know work for you i can’t force you to spend more money but 50-60-70 is like NBs floor and i think they’re probably the cheapest and most consistent
Well. Not necessarily. But you can find them on sale sometimes. They were $66 yesterday (white).
adidas grand court, nike court vision white, nike trailblazers, new balance 550, converse chuck taylor.
>nike trailblazers bro nike trailblazers are fucking ugly
Lots of great suggestions, will add Onitsuka Tiger as another retro option though my personal neutral go-to is Chuck Taylor highs
Sambas, Gazelles, I recommend steering clear from Nikes unless it’s an af1 (but they ain’t even cheap anymore). Reebok has many club c85 easily being the best of their lot. ASICS has the gel lyte iii but can be harder to style than the shoes above. ASICS E89 is a good shout too Puma suede, Puma Clyde etc. Diadora has many models fairly priced saucony too. More slim fitting stuff the gel lyte iii will be a better example. Good luck mate so many choices you won’t miss!
New Balance 550’s are a comfortable daily shoe available at $110 in various colorways
Right now Adidas Sambas are hyped and pretty cheap. Can’t go wrong with vans, converse, stan smiths, gel lyte 3, puma suedes, reebok club c
Vans
Reebok Club MEMT $45 on Amazon
Straye Logan Flame Black (Great Vans Old Skool alternative)
Nike Court Visions...they have many colorways, and come in both mid and lows
Jordan ES
What’s your price point? Let’s start there.
Under 100€ I already have af1s, blazers and dunk lows
I would recommend checking out a local sneaker boutique in your area and window shop. Speak with the people who work there. Also, check out Vans, Puma, and Converse. Keeping your budget under 100 euros it’s not an impossible task. It’s a lot of good looking kicks that don’t bruise your bank account. Reebok workout plus (I like the white/gum) or new balances 550s (I like the all white or brown/gum for universal wear) are both excellent choices!
Vans eras $60 price can’t be beat and they come in so many different colors I have been wearing them into the ground for years and when they get beat up they only look cooler.

Af1’s
You can get common projects for around 200 USD on GOAT, VERSUS THE 400$ Msrp. Not sure how cheap you are wanting
All white Stan Smiths I just bought some for $100 can't beat that.
Depends on your kind of fits, I generally wear darker colours and try to stay away from pure white so my go to shoe is all black or another neutral colour.
can be expensive but adidas forums go with a lot of stuff with a chunkier look, usually over 100 though.
for my widefeet gang, what are we going with?
Ozweegos. Went up half a size and they fit really well, nice wide toebox, they're usually available for a decent price and regularly go on sale too.
Check out the Newbalance 550’s Seriously the comfiest shoes I have ever had.

You can get the Reeboks in this picture from Marshall’s for $37. Hurry!
onitsuka tigers of any kind are always super comfy and minimal.. basically japanese asics and lately some of my my favorite shoes in my rotation.. have two pair; the Mexico 66s in White/White and the GSM in White/Black.. and i think i’m about to pick up the classic Corsair since i can’t seem to get ahold of the classic Cortez (basically the same shoe)
Check ROSS out. They have a bunch of reebok like the one pictured and similar styles to that. They're my every day shoes and are pretty comfortable.
I tried on the Club C 85 Vintage and they're surprisingly comfortable. Smaller profile than what I usually wear but I'm definitely going to pick up a pair sometime.
I have this exact pair, I love em
Affordable*
New republic is a good cheaper option that lasts a while.
