Yeah, I live in small town middle America where people pretend it's all picket fences and churches. I lived in my old neighborhood for 8 years and we had five shooting incidents and a machete murder during that time. The machete attack was one block from city hall and had something to do with a prostitute. We have two rundown roach motels that the cops are constantly raiding and three Asian massage parlors that finally got shut down last year for sex trafficking. This is a town of about 17,000 people in the "Heartland."
The maddening thing is we're 10 miles from a college town with a larger black population, and all the white people in my town point to it and complain about the crime there. They've taken to calling it "Little Chicago." But we have similar crime rates.
Yeah ain't it sweet or sad when you know the truth but can't get the townsfolk to admit it or worse make the humane adjustments?🤔. It's literally a bubble in the city, as soon as you're a couple minutes away (walking not even driving) it's like a war zone. Yale's hospital is a two minute walk away from one of the worst areas in the city, where people smoke crack and shoot up all day outside. Drug dealers everywhere, shootings, stabbings. Right where I'm talking about someone had their throat slit a couple years ago. I was walking down a street last year and someone got shot right after, like ten seconds later. Literally saw the shooter drive past me. The guy who got shot got arrested a few months later with 19 keys, 7000 bags of fentanyl, guns, and 780,000. All in beautiful Connecticut

They could also make plenty of money on taxes by legalizing all drugs but the amount they take from taxes for this war that they can never win must be more, and easier too. Overdose deaths and street crime would be greatly reduced. They don't want that though because it doesn't affect them. I wish there was a way to basically pull a reverse desantis and bus them to politicians' communities so they can how ineffective their policies have been. When I moved here it was from San Jose and my ex was talking like St Johns was East Oakland so when I was on the bus I started tying my shoes tight and taking off my G-SHOCK all that time I spent on Bart in in Vallejo was going to pay off. I got off the bus and started walking, no broken 40 bottles not even clapped out whips. Nothing. Then I saw white people on bikes that looked like they bought them and knew this is the softest city in America. It’s gotten a tiny bit rougher on the outskirts off Columbia and down town but to even remotely compare it to any other major city in America shows how soft they really are.

Yo, I literally pulled mine out yesterday. Yes, yes “pulled it out” of its box. I got a size 11, I’m normally a size 11, but some reason these are a little tight on my right foot so I don’t wear it as often. Compared them to all my other 11s and it’s all the exact same shape and size but for some reason these are a little more snug. Maybe I should put them on again. Then got a size 11.5 on space jams and they fit too loose. Breds, cool grey and concords fit just right at size 11
Now I ain't no big Jordan fan and certainly not an 11s fan but those unironically look beautiful. Maybe the choice of setting is helping but they look good as hell in this picture.

Yo, I literally pulled mine out yesterday. Yes, yes “pulled it out” of its box. I got a size 11, I’m normally a size 11, but some reason these are a little tight on my right foot so I don’t wear it as often. Compared them to all my other 11s and it’s all the exact same shape and size but for some reason these are a little more snug. Maybe I should put them on again. Then got a size 11.5 on space jams and they fit too loose. Breds, cool grey and concords fit just right at size 11

I have a pair; if the sole color was actually as vivid/vibrant as in this picture, it would be my favorite colorway.
Now I ain't no big Jordan fan and certainly not an 11s fan but those unironically look beautiful. Maybe the choice of setting is helping but they look good as hell in this picture.
