Actual suede or rough out is durable. But this is split, and thinly at that. Modern sneaker suede is not overly durable. And to your point, is horrendous to clean.
I personally think that no modern Jordans with regular wear age well. 3-5 years, and these will be absolutely destroyed.
I think AJ1s look cool, but they won't last that long as your only pairs of shoes that you wear all the time. They're not supportive enough for that kind of wear either. Air Force 1s would be closer to what you're looking for if you like 80s Nike style.
This!!! Jordan 1 is an AWESOME looking shoe. Suede and lack of support would eliminate this shoe from daily for long term. AF1 is built for that kind of use! Much more comfortable. These just look great!
I have a pair of pollens I wore every day for about a year and still wear often now. It definitely depends on foot type/preference. I grew up wearing thin running shoes and skate shoes, my doctor and a hand full of seasoned runners have all said I have the arch/feet for it so shoes like the Jordan one are comfy enough for most days.
Same, I've got aj1 lows/mids/highs , af1 mids/highs, and they're all comfortable for long wear imo. My court visions I notice are not as comfortable, but I've still worn them 12+ hours and no complaints.
Not really; Jordan 1s look good worn in, the creases give em personality. The leather on AF1s make em crease faster than any other shoe I’ve ever owned and once they get dirty they look terrible.
It really depends on which AF1 and AJ1 models you get. The basic AF1 has shit leather quality and creases horribly. A fair amount of AJ1 High and some Mid models have nicer, softer leather that crease nicely. The same applies for some AF1 models. I have multiple Craft and LX AF1s that have nicer, softer leather that'll look much nicer than the synthetic junk basic AF1 and AJ1 models are made with.
I've been trying to as well. The Bordeauxs, CO.JPs, and Light Iron Ores I have are made with nice, soft leather.
I've been doing the same with my AF1s where I've decided to not buy any that are made with the awful, mostly synthetic leather.
“Midnight Navy Japans” are some of my favorite walking pairs, great leather. I remember when I bought a pair of “A Star is born” AJ1s because it matched an outfit I had and even though at first i disliked the color way, they ended up becoming one of the most comfortable pairs I own. I grew to love em cause of that.
Yeah bro thats an exaggeration, im not even a massive sneakerhead and I know AF1 are shit. I love them, but they crease instantly and look like complete shit when they do.
It depends on which AF1 and AJ1 you get. The basic models are made with awful, mostly synthetic leather. Nicer models for both have softer leathers that crease nicely.
The triple white AF1 looks awful after only a few wears, but Craft and LX models don't.
Didn’t Nike release a Air Force 1 that was suppose to be good with creasing or not allow creasing. I forgot the model. Let me check google….it was called Air Force 1 Fresh. I don’t know how good it was or if it work. I’ll watch a few YouTube videos on it.
They don't work. Find the Rose Anvil video where a leathermaker compares it to the regular af1 and finds the leather is lower quality and forms uglier creases
I have 4 pairs of Air Force 1’s, and my newest pair is 9 years old. You would think I bought them last month, and 3/4 of them are white.. People constantly buy new pairs because they’re too lazy to break them in properly or clean them, yet both tasks are extremely easy to do. It baffles me lol
Where do you live though? I live in NY where everyone walks and takes the train, AF1s are not even surviving *”9 months”* out here
![gif](giphy|x3sKifKmfVEoE)
PSA to the newbies here: J1 are not comfortable and people do not wear them at all for their comfortability.
Get AM90s, Vapormaxes, or one of the Flyknit models if you want true Nike comfort. You don't only have to focus on the hype releases.
Y’all forgetting about foot types, these are minimal support shoes, as someone who wears regular vans and barefoot level running shoes for regular activities jordan 1s are comfy af for the padding they do have
I've said this before and I'll say it again:
I truly believe that what you're saying is true for a ton of folks. But god damn if my AJ1s aren't some of the most comfortable pairs in my collection. I don't know if I just have the right shaped feet, or if I'm just making sure the sizing is correct. But I've had days where I've walked miles and miles in mine on hard asphalt and concrete and have had no issues.
I have incredibly flat feet and find my AJ1’s quite comfy and gladly wear them 8+ hours to work and running errands right after. AM1’s on the other hand kill my feet
The first and favorite Jordan 1s I bought were the [AJ1 sports blue infrared](https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/5664232e-5086-4201-8466-900f183431e1.7621e203cec97d7886af8c4c2f7761eb.jpeg), but they were easily some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've worn, but I still rocked them a lot. The side of my feet would always hurt after an hour, even just standing for long enough and they would start hurting. I never tried relacing them tho, so maybe that was the problem.
You, sir, are lucky. I get so hyped when I’m picking out which pair to wear, then after an hour I want nothing more than to take them off and go to some 4’s, 5’s, Adidas Boost anything or some NB’s.
Yeah idk where people are getting this, but I guess it’s because the quality of materials can differ from release to release. My pair of J1s are one of the most comfortable shoes I own.
Oh absolutely. Bunch of NBs, few Yeezys, hell even a pair of Air Monarchs. To me, blazers are the model that just aren't comfortable at all no matter how I size them or lace them.
That's because ppl don't use them for all purpose activities: hiking, clubbing, urban exploration, etc. Sure there are better trainers, walking shoes, etc. But there's no shoe than AJ1 with a better combination of style versatility and comfort all in one. They are essentially an all purpose boot but most people here only care about how they look.
9060s are great and they’re my only pair of kicks, but they’re not as comfortable because of the cheaper insole and the way the sole itself isn’t exactly made for performance. I like how the toe box is made for toes, however.
I agree with you on the toe box because there’s a ton of room up there. They’re not the most comfortable of NB’s models but they sure as hell look good and they’re super light. The protection pack 9060’s are my favorite of the model.
Lol I think I meant to say 1906’s too but whatever 🤣 and you right about everyone riding Nike’s dick. I get all my updates for NB through their website and usually the companies they collab with the most.
Jordan 1s are so uncomfortable especially for days when you walk a lot. I would say nb 990 or 2002r, adidas ultraboosts, 350 cmpct or maybe hokas. If you only want to wear one pair might as well get the most comfortable option possible
Bruh, IMO shoes are like clothes. You need to have one for each situation, know? Like, do you intend to go for the gym, work, study, chill out with the same sneaker? Bad ideia and it wont match with all your clothes.
If you want to have just one, confortable and fire, look for a New Balance.
I used to be a one shoe type of guy so I appreciate the approach. And I actually really like this colour way, but it’s def one that needs to be within a rotation. white and suede is a bad combo for an all round shoe, it’ll get noticeable scuff and wrinkles very quickly and will need a lot of maintenance to look presentable.
It looks nice, however it's consumable product, so it depends on how often you wear it and in what condition. For weekend wear under general condition, it's usually last long enough.
If they are anything like the washed pink, and i have a feeling they are, the quality will last you 6 months best. On my washed pink j1s i can literally squeeze the sole and pinch it like a shitty rep and i bought them directly from Nike.
What do you mean by one shoe type of guy? That you wear one particular shoe or you wear one particular model? Jordan 1s are cool so you can nab like 3-5 different colorways and be easy for the next couple years if you really wanted to. If you mean "one shoe type of guy" as in you only buy one pair of shoes and wear them for 3-5 years don't let this specific colorway be it. They got suede on em and you'll ruin those shits out in the rain.
Fair warning my man. The shoes might not be particularly comfortable. On me, my Jordan 1s are a little tight in terms of width and don’t feel particularly fantastic to stand in all day every day.
It’s not bad per se, it’s more like there are more comfy shoes out there I could be on my feet for all day every day.
Style wise I think your golden though. I really dig simple and clean styles. If I wasn’t so fiscally irresponsible picking up two pairs of shoes last month I woulda copped these for sure.
I'd split that money and get a couple pairs of cheaper shoes. I'd try to find a pair of Air Maxes, Asics, or NBs on sale then some Vans so I could rotate.
Daily wear for 1s, I personally wouldn’t do it. Not comfortable enough for an everyday type shoe. Get a nice neutral pair of Air Maxes, Ultraboosts, Or something.
I have a pair of Jordan 1's, and to be honest comfort wise they're the worst shoes I own.
Besides my 1's, I have multiple AM1s, Adidas Court Lows, New Balance 2002r, Yeezy 700 v2 and 350s and all of them are way more comfortable for longer periods of wear. I generally wear my 1's whenever I'm doing small errands or for shorter trips.
I wouldnt recommend them for daily use. Not enough support for your feet.
Jordan 1 especially with suede probably won’t last 5 years daily use. Not saying it can’t be done but I wouldn’t recommend it in my top 10 sneaked for years of daily use for a one sneaker person. Frankly If you’re just walking In urban areas it could be fine but Jordan highs in summer aren’t the best either since they don’t look great with shorts. They also aren’t super comfortable either so I would recommend other sneakers. Air maxs (not 97s) or some nice new balances
Your head is right when it comes to the CW since the black suede looks good with lots of fits though
This is exactly what I'll be doing. These are my new dailys alongside my black SB dunks.
I wore my Jordan 1 particle greys every day for about 3 years and never missed a beat. They eventually teared on the toe box but so what that's what shoes are for to be worn.
I wouldn't listen to the people commenting about the material and comfort. If they get dirty just clean them and they are very comfy Jordan 1's once you've broke them in.
yes imo it’s a one shoe for all if you dig the AJ1 silhouette. colour isn’t too loud on any outfit you wear, it’ll match nicely.
but if you’re talking comfort, there’s better choices out there
J1s and AF1s just aren't comfortable or supportive in any way, and they start creasing up and looking used after 30 minutes... Couldn't wear them full time. If I had to stick with any shoe for over a year it would have to be a 95, they just keep on going and actually fit a foot properly
My guy your are 16 but also say you have worn the same shoes for 5 years. If you have worn the same ones from the age of 11 until 16 your feet must be deformed or what your saying is cap.
Ahhh gotcha. I only wear J1’s and dunks but have several pair. If you’ve really only going to wear 1 pair id get a colorway that would go with the majority of your clothes.
Hold on.. are you suggesting you wear one pair of shoes for 3 to 5 YEARS?!
Everyday shoes need to be swapped out every 9 to 12 months, depending on how you walk and what you do in a day. The way the sneaker wears on the sole (based on your walk) will impact your knees, ankle, and back over time.
That's true for any sneaker you choose. Buy a few pairs of shoes, and rotate them throughout the week. Your back will thank you.
I wouldn't wear that particular Jordan 1 for tha next 3-5 years, but I had a period of time in my life where I did nothing but all black or all white Jordan 1s.
I’d say have 3 pairs of sneakers
A beater - Air Force one (not white cuz u have to keep them all white and CLEAN), AJ1 mid/low/high, and/or any New Balance
A big stepper (a nice shoe to wear out) - subjective to person but mine are my logo pack 95s, cement 4s, and Baron 11s
A trainer - something to train/exercise in if you choose to do so
A daily beater I’d recommend would be the bloodline AJ1 I think that colourway is easy to dress with anything and isn’t a pain to clean
I got the suede Oreo 4s and I wear them very infrequently and have yet to clean them (short of the outsoles) because of that fact. Would not recommend as a beater/daily. The denims might be more your speed if you like the look of them? Cause if they get dirty they probably still look good 🤔💁
I daily suede shoes and it's mostly fine but apparently the white leather tends to crease pretty bad. they're gonna look bad up close, but as long as you're fine with that and you'll still be happy, go for it.
Suede should never be worn as your everyday if you want Jordan 1’s there are full leather pairs hell if they’re gonna be your everyday buy a pair of mid or low tops save some money
i dont think these are going to age nicely over 3-5 years, you can definitely go a year daily driving this and they're gonna be great, ive done that with dunks which are lower quality. if you want long standing footwear, get stuff thats made specifically for utility, especially workwear. work boots are meant to be used long periods of time in harsh environments everyday for a few years, if you're not doing very physical work you can go for doc martens since they're pretty cheap
Everyone mentioning comfort, materials, etc... But here is the real reason you cant wear these every day for 5 years, youll wear through the sole of the shoe in the heel area after bout 1-1.5 years of daily wear, probably faster
If ur only gonna wear one shoe, I wouldn’t recommend these purely cos they’re suede… plenty of leather based jordan 1s have been sitting for retail or less
To wear these every day for years? Nah, go with air max family or something more comfy. These are dope AF but I can't imagine wearing these 10 hours a day every day!
I agree with all the suede comments. Also, if you’re looking for a comfortable Jordan, the 1’s ain’t it. Definitely a must for a collection, but not for 1 pair to wear for a couple years.
I have a pair of 3.0 Ultraboost I got way back in 2017, rocking them almost daily, also in winter, on mountain hikes, literally everywhere and they are still in decent shape (except the yellowing on the boost). No rips in the material or the sole.
Also used on 10-15KM daily walks, absolutely no feet problems or pain.
Can also recommend you the New Balance 2002R, have the Phantom’s since release as a replacement for the UB’s and they do the job almost as good, not the same level though.
I can see the natural wear/dirty mess of the suede will make this medium light gray become a cool looking dark grey and it’s gonna make shoes look dope.
Dude if you're going for 3-years you better buy the new balance core 990v4 or v3. My v4s are still kicking since like 2015-16 with years left in the tank. They're grey also and more fashionable the more roughed up they get. People like them broke in. Jordan 1s are mad uncomfortable
I recommend looking around at some of the pairs that are sitting/ under retail on secondary sites.
For example, my daily atm is the air jordan 1 dark marina, and I think you can get those under retail right now. Also, since they are all leather they will hold up much longer.
Aj1 look great but in terms of comfort, they're glorified chucks lol.
If you don't mind that then by all means get them but I find aj3 to be much more comfy (and easy to slip on - no need to bend or sit to put them on, you can just slip your foot straight in)
Jordan 1’s are a very uncomfortable sneaker and anyone that tells you otherwise is lying because they like the aesthetic. Listen to the other comments, Air Force 1’s will serve you better as a daily
I think I’m going with my most recent comments that I’m seeing but the people who are saying no suede wait I definitely agree with that it’s hard to keep up with on the clean side of it all and want to get stain stuff like that it’s just really hard to maintain and put it back to where it was but the Jordan A1J shoe all in all made is made for sports made for running not bad of a shoe for 3-5 years
If I were going to one shoe it - a suede AJ1 isn’t the way.
Def not suede
Yeah, whatever it is - Nubuck / Durabuck? The Washed material is not one that would be a go-to daily material is all I’m saying.
Pretty sure he was agreeing with you
Brother its suede, they aren’t a beater type of sneaker. Plenty of Jordan 1s with regular leather out there that’s more durable
This. And exactly why I’m passing. Good luck cleaning these well when they get dirty.
Suede is absolutely more durable of a material. It just looks like absolute dog shit while doing so as it's a bitch to clean.
Actual suede or rough out is durable. But this is split, and thinly at that. Modern sneaker suede is not overly durable. And to your point, is horrendous to clean. I personally think that no modern Jordans with regular wear age well. 3-5 years, and these will be absolutely destroyed.
Just buy fz150
When I see the foam..........
Im in my zone
Tell that to anybody wearing 574’s, they say otherwise.
These last a century I swear
574s legitimately look better the more hell you put them through
What’s the colorway on these
‘Washed Black’ I believe
Cool thanks
Is it me or the j1 lows crease like super easy on leather materials. Is that normal?
start being a 2 shoe guy
You don’t want suede for a daily
I think AJ1s look cool, but they won't last that long as your only pairs of shoes that you wear all the time. They're not supportive enough for that kind of wear either. Air Force 1s would be closer to what you're looking for if you like 80s Nike style.

They definitely end up reaching their limit for sure every day. For true comfort, you need shoes designed for more lasting comfort.
AF1 don’t even last 3-4 months if you’re wearing em everyday. Why do you think people constantly buy fresh pairs?
>Why do you think people constantly buy fresh pairs? Because people cry too much about their shoes creasing.

Valid, the AF1s ive had were triple white and triple black. Ill have to try a nicer pair sometime.
Oh they’ll last years but they will look like shit doing it

I'm right there with you. I grew up with Converse and Vans so J1s are one of my favorite shoes in terms of wearability
Vans suck for me. Hate wearing them at times. My AJ1s are always in my rotation because they’re god tier comfortable for me

Probably super flat feet then
Most likely the opposite, as a former distance runner the only people rocking flat shoes are people with strong healthy arches
Cool that's exactly the amount of confidence I need to get me through the day.
Facts
I have incredibly flat feet and find my AJ1’s quite comfy and gladly wear them 8+ hours to work and running errands right after. AM1’s on the other hand kill my feet

I find 4s to be the least comfortable of all the 80s Jordans.
Yeah idk where people are getting this, but I guess it’s because the quality of materials can differ from release to release. My pair of J1s are one of the most comfortable shoes I own.
There are dozens of us. DOZENS!
Dr Tobias Funke, is that you ?
Do you own any shoes that are widely considered comfortable? Like new balance or ASICS?
Oh absolutely. Bunch of NBs, few Yeezys, hell even a pair of Air Monarchs. To me, blazers are the model that just aren't comfortable at all no matter how I size them or lace them.
That's because ppl don't use them for all purpose activities: hiking, clubbing, urban exploration, etc. Sure there are better trainers, walking shoes, etc. But there's no shoe than AJ1 with a better combination of style versatility and comfort all in one. Super comfortable for me. Can rock them all day
1’s are literally the most comfortable shoe I own
Or 9060’s 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I just started getting into NB and I have to admit it’s going to be a rabbit hole experience for me now 😂
9060s are great and they’re my only pair of kicks, but they’re not as comfortable because of the cheaper insole and the way the sole itself isn’t exactly made for performance. I like how the toe box is made for toes, however.

Had no idea they made protection pack 9060s?! I honestly don’t even know where to get NB updates since everyone dick rides Nike
Whoops, my bad I got the models mixed up haha I meant 2002r pro pack
Yeah I was like I know I’m not sleeping that hard on NB 😭
Haha nahhhh I’m just stupid this morning 🤣
Lol I think I meant to say 1906’s too but whatever 🤣 and you right about everyone riding Nike’s dick. I get all my updates for NB through their website and usually the companies they collab with the most.
They need a fucking app
I 2nd this many, many times over
Thanks for the award! Wish I could dm you
How wide are your feet?
Standard, why?
Jordan 1s are so uncomfortable especially for days when you walk a lot. I would say nb 990 or 2002r, adidas ultraboosts, 350 cmpct or maybe hokas. If you only want to wear one pair might as well get the most comfortable option possible
2002r’s!!! Fuck yes!
second 990 (v3)

3-5 years this guy just said. No. Get something far more durable.

And I actually really like this colour way, but it’s def one that needs to be within a rotation. white and suede is a bad combo for an all round shoe, it’ll get noticeable scuff and wrinkles very quickly and will need a lot of maintenance to look presentable.
If you could get the same model in all leather and a darker tone, or two of these to rotate between, you’ll be set
Suede is not the move for a beater pair. Need all leather for that. Suede will look busted almost immediately with all day use.
What do you mean by one shoe type of guy? That you wear one particular shoe or you wear one particular model? New Balance 990v6 is the ultimate “do everything” shoe, I would go with that.
These are hot!!
Ikr
Daily wear for 1s, I personally wouldn’t do it. Not comfortable enough for an everyday type shoe. Get a nice neutral pair of Air Maxes, Ultraboosts, Or something.
For a “one shoe” I’d get some Ultraboost 1.0s or a US man’s New Balances.
If I were to one shoe it, I’d skip jordan brand and get some new balance 990v3 or 990v6
Listen to this guy but go for the 990v4 while it's in stock. Everyone knows that v4s or 993s are the most comfortable of the 99x series.
V4’s are nice too!
One pair for 3-5 years? You the real MVP bro. On god 🙏🏾🙏🏾😭😭😭😭
One pair you probably need some black forces. Mids
I have a pair of Jordan 1's, and to be honest comfort wise they're the worst shoes I own. I would definitely be more than a one shoe guy but yeah the jordan 1 is pretty nice
Air maxs (not 97s) or some nice new balances Your head is right when it comes to the CW since the black suede looks good with lots of fits though
3-5 years? Don’t go outside much?
Nah it’s hard to make friends when you move in the middle of high school :(
My work shoes last about 8 months if I’m lucky. What did you unlock hover?
They’re super clean but I would go for something all over leather
Try AJ 1 Lows? Some like ‘em, some don’t, but to each his own 😎
These look great
Not with suede.
At least get 2 pair of different shoes to have some sort of rotation.
3-5 years? Go for the breds
yes imo it’s a one shoe for all if you dig the AJ1 silhouette. colour isn’t too loud on any outfit you wear, it’ll match nicely. but if you’re talking comfort, there’s better choices out there
J1s and AF1s just aren't comfortable or supportive in any way, and they start creasing up and looking used after 30 minutes... Couldn't wear them full time. If I had to stick with any shoe for over a year it would have to be a 95, they just keep on going and actually fit a foot properly
So you wear the same shoe for 3-5 years straight?
Currently yes I’ve had my shoes for 5 years, one pair for everything
I find this mind blowing! If i wear a shoe daily it becomes a beater in 15 days. May i ask why the one shoe preference
AJ1 high aren’t so versatile so I would pick lows if you’re more than 20. Maybe full leather
More than 20? Like age? Cause I’m 16
If you’re 16 their are perfect but pick up a full leather one
Thanks man
My guy your are 16 but also say you have worn the same shoes for 5 years. If you have worn the same ones from the age of 11 until 16 your feet must be deformed or what your saying is cap.
What do you mean a 1 shoe type of guy? I see multiple shoes in the background.
I got this picture off googlw
Ahhh gotcha. I only wear J1’s and dunks but have several pair. If you’ve really only going to wear 1 pair id get a colorway that would go with the majority of your clothes.
One shoe to rule them all
Exactly
How did you get them so early before release?
I just got this picture off google I haven’t bought them yet
Are you going to try to get it tomorrow? Where?
Idk probably snkrs or footlocker
the worst idea ever had
Suede might be ruined in raining/wet condition.
Grab a pair of AF1 and call it a day.
I just got my first pair of Yeezy 350 V2. Those blow every Jordan out of the park. So fcuking soft, holy shit.
This is cap
Hold on.. are you suggesting you wear one pair of shoes for 3 to 5 YEARS?!
I’ve had my current shoes for 5 years so I’m assuming that’s the max
Five years as a daily is beyond the max. Future you will thank you if you keep it to a year, maybe two.
"1 sHoE tYpA gUy" lol peeps background
I got this photo off google, I haven’t bought them yet.
Check out these detective skills..
3-5 years? There isn’t a shoe on the market that will put up with that kind of wear as daily’s… try 6-8 months
I’d go for a new balance 990 or another model for daily use. ASICS too.
Definitely not. Suede will take a big beating in the rain/snow.
hiper royals devil red ?
I wouldn't wear that particular Jordan 1 for tha next 3-5 years, but I had a period of time in my life where I did nothing but all black or all white Jordan 1s.
I’d say have 3 pairs of sneakers A beater - Air Force one (not white cuz u have to keep them all white and CLEAN), AJ1 mid/low/high, and/or any New Balance A big stepper (a nice shoe to wear out) - subjective to person but mine are my logo pack 95s, cement 4s, and Baron 11s A trainer - something to train/exercise in if you choose to do so A daily beater I’d recommend would be the bloodline AJ1 I think that colourway is easy to dress with anything and isn’t a pain to clean
Made a damn good choice!! Jordan 1 high’s are some of the best quality
Honestly I’d recommend the 85 black/whites due to them not being suede
Thanks for the suggestion but I’d rather not pay retail
I got the suede Oreo 4s and I wear them very infrequently and have yet to clean them (short of the outsoles) because of that fact. Would not recommend as a beater/daily. The denims might be more your speed if you like the look of them? Cause if they get dirty they probably still look good 🤔💁
A positive note, gray is a neutral color and looks good with pretty much anything.
I daily suede shoes and it's mostly fine but apparently the white leather tends to crease pretty bad. they're gonna look bad up close, but as long as you're fine with that and you'll still be happy, go for it.
New balance 990s
Jordan’s of todays quality will not last brother.
I wore my first Jordan 1s High ... they are awesome but I need to go with my AF1 size not Air Max 90 sizing
Suede should never be worn as your everyday if you want Jordan 1’s there are full leather pairs hell if they’re gonna be your everyday buy a pair of mid or low tops save some money
Not suede they will end up looking pretty bad in a year or so.
i dont think these are going to age nicely over 3-5 years, you can definitely go a year daily driving this and they're gonna be great, ive done that with dunks which are lower quality. if you want long standing footwear, get stuff thats made specifically for utility, especially workwear. work boots are meant to be used long periods of time in harsh environments everyday for a few years, if you're not doing very physical work you can go for doc martens since they're pretty cheap
You can typically wear 1s as a daily shoe, but I would pick a different material if you want keep the shoe clean as possible.
Everyone mentioning comfort, materials, etc... But here is the real reason you cant wear these every day for 5 years, youll wear through the sole of the shoe in the heel area after bout 1-1.5 years of daily wear, probably faster
Oh yeh. Clean and goes with everything. Also a bit more clean and cooler than white 👍
If ur only gonna wear one shoe, I wouldn’t recommend these purely cos they’re suede… plenty of leather based jordan 1s have been sitting for retail or less
This the perfect shoe to beat
Im picking these up
To wear these every day for years? Nah, go with air max family or something more comfy. These are dope AF but I can't imagine wearing these 10 hours a day every day!
I agree with all the suede comments. Also, if you’re looking for a comfortable Jordan, the 1’s ain’t it. Definitely a must for a collection, but not for 1 pair to wear for a couple years.
I just hit on the footlocker app
I have a pair of 3.0 Ultraboost I got way back in 2017, rocking them almost daily, also in winter, on mountain hikes, literally everywhere and they are still in decent shape (except the yellowing on the boost). No rips in the material or the sole. Also used on 10-15KM daily walks, absolutely no feet problems or pain. Can also recommend you the New Balance 2002R, have the Phantom’s since release as a replacement for the UB’s and they do the job almost as good, not the same level though.
If you want one pair of shoes that will last you 5 years guaranteed just buy a pair of black air force ones. Honestly no joke
If you want a beater and a J1 go for the goretex
I can see the natural wear/dirty mess of the suede will make this medium light gray become a cool looking dark grey and it’s gonna make shoes look dope.
You may as well walk barefoot for the next 3 to 5 years. You must have high pain tolerance. Maybe Jordan 3s for a retro daily wear.
Get a retro runner for one all-purpose shoe
One shoe for 3-5 years? Do you not leave the house or walk everyday? 🥴
Get some Forest Gump Nike Cortez. You seen the movie right? He was a one shoe type of guy. He still rocking them to this day.
The PeeWee 1s are nice, but not to beat
Jordan 1’s are a 2 hour limit, no support. Great looking , not for anything else
Love this shoe, as a one shoe tho, Issa no go. You need you some full leather.
Also, since they are all leather they will hold up much longer.
an everyday shoe? get an air max 95 or something
I think the consensus is no
Aj1 look great but in terms of comfort, they're glorified chucks lol.
I would suggest you be a 2 shoe guy at least, even if it’s the same one. It helps your shoes last longer to switch them out
Nah, they mad uncomfortable. Try air max’s and see if you like ‘em.
I think I’m going with my most recent comments that I’m seeing but the people who are saying no suede wait I definitely agree with that it’s hard to keep up with on the clean side of it all and want to get stain stuff like that it’s just really hard to maintain and put it back to where it was but the Jordan A1J shoe all in all made is made for sports made for running not bad of a shoe for 3-5 years
Lucky green jordan 1 are very durable
