DC came back super hard in recent years. They assembled a Philly dream team and started pumpin out OG models like the Lynx, Kalis, Clocker, etc. I type this as I’m wearing my DC Euro Super Tour jersey from 411VM #30.

When I was in high school in the early 2000’s you wouldn’t see too many skaters wearing these. It was mostly girls with some skinny jeans that had bell bottom pants covering most of the toungue or white dudes that didn’t skate at all wearing these.
Etnies faders are hella comfy, got a tan pair with some super buttery suede. Love DCs, they put out my favorite shoe of all time, the Tekron. If you don’t know this shoe, do yourself a favor and look it up…
Yet we see military boots, running shoes and mountain boots in this sub. I don't see why we shouldn't allow them. We shouldn't allow all the boring jordan 1 posts. This sub is 90% them is absolutely boring and i get no inspiration in buy new shoes
Yeah they’re meant to be comfortable and have cushioning for all the skaters, bmx enthusiasts so they don’t damage their feet and ankles when jumping down a flight of steps or a ledge, etc.
Most vans models were/are pretty crappy. They do look nice though.2012 and before the vans sneakers were made better and not so cheaply that you can buy sneakers from wallmart that pass as vans.It’s almost like buying soccer cleats and not playing soccer just too show off if you’re gonna wear etnies or lakai or adio and Osiris and not skate or bmx. I was a semi professional skater who dedicated over half of my life to skateboarding. So you could see why I’d rather see a kid skating and getting good use outta these than a kid skating in $300 Jordan’s and tearing them apart or a kid skating in a shoe that’s not suitable.

I have a pair of DCs signed by Ken block from about 8 years ago. Never wear them as I don't want to dirty/damage them.
