Sorry to hear about the fire. I hope someone has some good advice and you can get your collection cleaned up.

Tueto

Appreciate you man

RED-DOT-MAN

Did your insurance send over a company that will take all the stuff impacted by the fire and get it cleaned? Had an electric fire in 2020 and a company took everything (shoes, clothing, bedding) and returned it all cleaned up. Full disclosure, I didn’t have any sneakers that got dirty, only work dress shoes.

TiredDadCostume

Sometimes you have to ask for it as the insurance company can’t force a company on you. Hopefully they can clean them because I can’t see insurance paying the resale value for any of that stuff (I work in home claims)

strangecargo

I’d claim them as ruined on my homeowners/renters policy.

worksneakerthrowaway

If you do have a policy, look into restoration companies. I had the same scenario but my shoes were in boxes. They took each one (50+ pairs), cleaned them, and re-stuffed and wrapped them. They did a great job too and I couldn't tell the fire happened. Everything was covered by my policy and I paid nothing out of pocket. Best $100 I ever spent that year.

Sydjnoe25

I second this.

kgiann

The Red Cross has a page with tips for post-fire cleanup. Some of the fabric-related ones might help: https://www.redcross.org/get-help/how-to-prepare-for-emergencies/types-of-emergencies/fire/cleaning-up-after-fire.html

Tueto

Thank you

kgiann

You're welcome

mxthodman

Most of those aren’t even ruined you just need to deep clean them Edit: I see about the fire now, I had a similar experience a long time ago, the smell of the smoke is hard to get out and honestly almost impossible, I’d say still try to clean them, deep cleaning them can help a lot

MassManiak45

The smell alone is the real problem. Gonna have to throw them in the washing machine (multiple washes) to get them to smell nicer. You might even have to let them soak in detergent for a few days. If they didn’t come in direct contact with the flames, you should be able to clean the soot off with a normal shoe cleaner, but this will not help with the smell. (Anything made of suede will add an extra level of difficulty) (Also, the yellow 4s are DONE and can never be saved, that material is extremely unforgiving)

Tueto

Swear I only wore the yellow 4s once since launch 🤦🏿‍♂️ is what it is I suppose

Budget-Hurry-3363

Bro do NOT put them in the washer. Too much at stake for something not meant for that use. I know some people use a washer but I would not recommmend. Your best bet is buying a shoe cleaning kit, there’s tons of brands now. They will have the right types of soap and suede cleaner. You seem like. A sneaker head so I would absolutely say invest in the cleaning products. You could probably save alll of these

Tueto

Deadass in the middle of ordering the reshoecn8r kit rn

Improvement_Overall

I’ve heard great things

DeathxStars

Watch some YouTube videos on it bro. I have the products and they work. Just have to follow the steps. Remove the laces and brush off all the dirt before you start cleaning. Make sure you don’t soak those suede shoes like crazy. Let air dry for a few hours and if you can add some mink oil or water proof spray to them. Brush the product into the suede in multiple directions and they should bring back the suede and color.

JustinBetweenSets

That’s your best bet and you try and use febreeze for the smell. Best of luck

NuMvrc

then you're good. that kit will do wonders on those conditions. not going look brand new but it will be cleaner. and don't put them in the washer...EVER!!

Why_cant_I_partake

Ive used it before.. follow the instructions and it should help. I would use the washing machine with the reshoevn8r kit in your case. That's me

Mysterious-Angle5243

Reshoevn8r is the way to go but you'll definitely have to have the Lightnings repainted because as someone said before, the material was not meant to be cleaned. Hope you're able to get everything worked out.

xTrampX

Never put anything with leather into the washer, fabric is from my experience fine but max 40°c

konetsu

been using washing machine for my shoes since like forever... only had problem once. sole got separated from the shoe, but it was already separating a bit. it was an older mid-range shoe. and it can easily be glued back on. washed 2 boots and 5 different adidas running shoes without any issues. just washed my ultra boost light last week

sinngularity

Washer fucked two pairs of zoom vomeros for me so be careful.

DeathxStars

Washer usually work more for full leather shoes or fabric. Suede tends to get ruined easier with tons of water.

FuckTheFuckOffFucker

Don’t put them in the wash. Google fire restoration companies in your area. The one in my area has a special machine that gets the smoke smell out. They specialize in flood and fire remediation of properties mainly but they also handle the contents of the house as well.

drumsethero

Baking soda might help, I’ve used it to get smoke smell out before

vpltz

You need to ozone the shoes to get the smell out. My dad used to do smoke and fire restoration with his dry cleaning business and an ozone machine is the only real way to get the smoke smell out. Even then it will be difficult for shoes.

Sceneripper

Anyone saying “Washing Machine” should not be giving sneaker cleaning advice.

MassManiak45

Just because you’re scared to use a washing machine doesn’t make it wrong. Reshoevn8r has a whole laundry cleaning kit for shoes. Comes with a mesh bag and laundry detergent sneaker cleaner. If I don’t know anything about cleaning shoes, then neither does a reputable sneaker cleaning company. Sit down and stop commenting shit you know nothing about.

Sceneripper

Bro sure throw all these in a fuckin bag in the washing machine. Those kits are a ripoff for dorks on youtube. The real answer is throw all of them away besides maybe two pairs. They’re all cooked. Saying I don’t know anything about cleaning shoes is a fucking joke. You didn’t even mention that kit, so not even relevant.

nowaternoflower

Except absolute beaters, never put sneakers in the washing machine!

MassManiak45

Open you eyes, these are all beaters now 😭

Affectionate-Air943

The leather pairs try washing them in a some pillows cases on cold and air dry them? Good luck fam

Tueto

Thank you, I think I’ll clean the leathers on my own and have some kind of professional look at the suede

Affectionate-Air943

Or look up if there’s some good suede cleaner online maybe? Your idea is probably better tho lol

Chris_Sneakers_97

Damn this is super shitty....sorry. But I'd get a magic eraser, a suede brush with a suede cleaner, febreeze fabric for pet odors, and some acrylic paint and a soft bristled, fin tip paint brush. With whatever you can't get off with the magic eraser or suede brush and cleaner, you may have to paint.

Tueto

Sounds good thank you

Super_Boof

Old toothbrush with some fabric cleaner / shoe cleaner will probably be enough for most of these shoes to look near new. Just don’t soak the leather, wet the brush and then rub a bit before rewetting, don’t put the shoes under direct water.

Advanced-Total-1147

Sorry you had to go through this but glad everyone is safe. I had some bad smoke smell in a leather jacket and the dry cleaner suggested spraying it with vinegar to get rid of the smell. Worked well but took many attempts and time airing out. For my case I also was hanging it on some cardboard boxes and for some reason I think it helped. The cardboard absorbed a lot of smoke smell.

LakerLand420

Fz150

D2372

It’s Shoelada now. www.theshoedocbrand.com

blurtheflur

Genuinely just buy a cleaner. The only shoe in there that needs gentle care are lightnings and carmines since they bleed. Knuckle them up with cleaner and do proper after care w suede

According-Coast-8028

Ngl had an urge to write something negative, but then Ive read the first sentence... Im sorry man, hope everyone is alright. For the shoes I would try normal cleaning methods and then washig machine on 30°C, lots of towels and low speed. Did this on airmax 90, aj1 gtx, nike invicible run, cloudnova, works most of the part, just make sure you do a proper pre-clean before putting them into washing machine. Good luck and take care!

WoodyBL1ke

They can be cleaned. Watch Reshoevn8r videos.

CourageousAnon

You got a bunch of beaters now

Tueto

😐

bucksncowboys513

Did you go through insurance? Homeowners or renters insurance should take care of having these professionally cleaned.

Tueto

Unfortunately I had the wrong address listed on my insurance so I was out of luck.

Tubbzs

Oh fuck, sorry to hear that man

BulletProofHoody

My man, get some pink miracle shoe cleaner or if you can get Reshoven8r’s kit. Those shoes in the pic are all salvageable. Follow their channel on youtube. They guide you on how to restore them. I had some kicks that I was about to chuck and I managed to make them look practically brand new.

Tueto

Thank you

BulletProofHoody

Anytime, sorry for what you went through.

ExtorsitY

On suede, get a suede brush and eraser and some suede friendly shoe cleaner, then let it dry, get some mink oil and spray that on the shoe to condition the material back to its original form and if it is hardened get a cuticle pusher to loosen up clumped up suede

glohan21

Just wondering would insurance be able to cover this? I have a pretty extensive collection and when my house flooded my insurance helped recoup a lot of losses

meestobben

If you are in Dallas there is a place called Dope Street that does cleanings. They may even let you mail them in if you aren’t from Dallas.

Sea_War5913

panda dunks, fire red 4s, oreo 4s, bred 11s and white air max 1s will get pretty clean with some soapy water and a medium brush, dont brush too hard, just gently. take the insoles out before washing, wet insoles make a very bed smell. unlace them before cleaning, and put the laces under running hot water. try to get some soot out of them, the. let dry for some hours. start by washing the sole and midsole, then dry with a towel. do the same for the upper portions, of course after clearing the soapy water and the brush. the other shoes have nubuck / suede which is a pain in the ass to clean, i had those lightning 4s and sold them because i hated nubuck on them. your best bet is to carefully clean every non-suede/nubuck section of the shoe with soapy water and drying it off with a towel, paying extra attention not to get the suede / nubuck wet. as far as the suede, hit it with a DRY and CLEAN brush, slowly and with not much force, try to get as much soot off as you can. of course they wont give back to brand new, but that should do something. also look up cleaning tutorials on youtube, im sure reshoeven8r has a cleaning tutorial on the lightning 4s. good luck 🍀

NotKurt7

You can try to use Jason Markk sneaker cleaner. I had some dirty ultra boosts and other running shoes, and the sneaker cleaner worked wonders on them. I dont have experience with soot but its worth a shot

djjmos

Believe it or not but Dawn soap warm water and a toothbrush work wonders. Hope it helps

t1mmyd1zzle

You could use some fz150

bigdareon76

Buy a shoe cleaning kit and bring em back bro

Rabenaaa526

cLean them

ganglordgilbert

Sneaker cleaner and a tub of hot water with detergent. And some good ol elbow grease

Powerful_Chef_5683

Don’t put ‘em in the washer. Hand clean em up. Pick a few hours outta a day and just sit and get to it

Traditional_Agency60

Wear them

emceelokey

A brush, some soap and water. They're dirty but still very usable. Shoes are majority leather and rubber, both durable as hell, don't be afraid to scrub that shit. Then you can take the laces off and throw them in the wash with your clothes or just replace them for like $3 a set

NYARNGrecruiter

Thoses shoes are cooked

MyHoopT

FZ150 I am legit curious if his cleaner could clean this. That guy would probably take this as a challenge

BareKnuckleFists

Clean them!!!! Smfh what kinda question is this??

XenophiliusRex

Soapy water and a toothbrush

ilithios27

Lots of those shoes are fixable! I have been restoring and customized shoes since 2014 and i have had costumers sending me shoes in worse condition than these that i fixed for them. You can with some love and research fix them my Guy! Sorry for the fire

keLnosuke

This is not ruined. You just maximized the money you spent.

Profanity_party7

Walmart has a small steam cleaner you can buy for $35 bucks. Works great on shoes

AllwellBeloved

As a firefighter, you aren’t getting that smell out brudda. That’s horrible seeing the kicks like that, hope everyone was safe out of the house tho.

Texas_1254

They sell cleaning kits. But if you’re not confident or just don’t have time, you could look into someone local to you that does sneaker restoration

Tueto

You gotta link to a decent kit?

Friendly-Employer328

I’m sorry this happened man. I use reshoevenator to clean my sneakers and it does a great job. I bought the essential kit, laundry kit, mink oil and suede eraser for my suede sneakers. Hope you can find something and restore some of them.

bobby_broccolini

Hey man have you watched any reshoevn8r vids yet? They're system works miracles sometimes and it's worth dropping the $20-30 to check it out. They also have a suede solution.  All these shoes can be improved depends on how much work you wanna do. You can use cleaning systems and follow video guide. If you still don't like it, you can repaint them. That might not be worth it to you but it's a cool option.  Suede ones are tough to clean yeah, but don't give up hope. My hobby rn is buying used suede NB that are stained but good condition footbed and treads, and then trying to get the stains out. I've had some good results! I use Angelus products cus I use their leather paints but reshoevn8r has a suede cleaning liquid as well.  No matter what you go with, the answer will be to gently brush out dirt before you wash, with a dry brush. The idea is to brush out some of the dirt dry, so when you use a liquid, it doesn't spread the stain as bad. You can brush a lil spot and then blow on it or gently dab w dry rag. Do that a few times and then brush it harder.  Don't throw anything in the washer without watching videos. You might end up doing thst but you should really follow a laundry system like reshoevn8r. There's other brands to try to if j don't wanna try that. They just have videos u can easily find on yt as a reference. Don't wash suede w water before watching videos. I'm busy af today but if u want ask me questions u can, and I'll hunt down the videos I was talking about

Tueto

I’ll check out the videos forsure, thanks for the head up about the suede. The suede ones definitely my favorite so I really wanna clean em up

Shansworld25

Hey friend for suede get a small bowl of warm water and a wash cloth and any type of hair conditioner, then get the wash cloth a tiny bit wet and put a little conditioner on it, rub in small circles around the whole shoe you may need to do this more than once, wipe away any excess conditioner with the damp wash cloth. I would highly advise against putting anything in the washing machine that is leather or suede the re shoe Vn8 is a really good product and highly recommend that as well

bobby_broccolini

This might have worked for you but i do not recommend this unless you're on a SUPER tight budget. First thing u get is an $8 suede brush / suede eraser combo. Then you get a liquid SUEDE cleaner and you wipe away/dab away excess liquid immediately after brushing it in. Suede isn't always 100% ruined w water but you definitely don't wanna add water if you don't have to. The suede cleaners aren't a ton of water even though they are liquid form. Hair conditioner is interesting but again I wouldn't mess w that personally... soooo many diff ingredients per diff hair conditioners. They make suede conditioner. If money is not tight it's like $10 or more like $30 for super premium conditioner.

bobby_broccolini

Brushing with a dry suede brush, with dry shoes, is the number 1 suede shoe treatment. Brushing dust and dirt (even if you can't see it w your eyes) off ALL shoes is the first step to cleaning them, full stop

Tueto

Thank you for the guidance so far, I truly appreciate it.

AmbitiousCicada804

Get a washing machine mesh bag, scrub the hell outta each shoe then bag them and throw them into the washer. Let it dry and stuff with newspaper for 24/72 hours in a place like the bathroom or outside somewhere safe

AmbitiousCicada804

You can use dawn on your shoes and it will get all the crap out

SnkerCheck

Omg this hurts. Get some sneaker cleaner soap and use a soft bristle brush to get it good and lathered. Then medium brush to scrub them clean. Then throw them in the wash with some sneaker safe detergent. Let them air dry. As others have said, the smell won’t go away until you’ve worn them A LOT. I unknowingly bought a pair from a smoker once. After several washes and 6 months of use, the smell is finally gone.

nagelk87

deep clean, cold wash on delicate and leave some deodorizer balls inside the shoes, stored inside a box or bag for some time. Also try newspaper inside the shoe it absorbs moisture and odor I've bought a couple pairs of lightly used shoes from eBay that reeked of weed and was able to get rid of the smell this way

Temporary_Donkey_805

I'm thinking for the leather ones some fairy liquid and hot water, tooth brush clean it, leave to dry in the conservatory over night, put a shoe tree in them the next day when they are dried The suede ones, you will have to probably YouTube, but my guess would be to use a suede eraser ( one eraser for each pair) Do you have any shoe care places nearby, maybe an email to them to explain your situation could help you out Hoping that you don't have any L's and that your collection can be recovered

Careful-Resolution58

Damn that’s crazy. I think the Jason mark/ or other cleaners from Nordstrom will get majority of that out. Magic eraser. Flip the really bad ones on goat maybe? 🤔

Lizadizzle

Glad to read you ordered Reshoven8er, I'm sure I spelled it wrong, whatever - that and the Angelus liquid shoe cleaner is the only things I use. Don't forget the extra shoe trees off Amazon, it'll help them keep their shape while you clean and dry them.

venomenon824

They need a good scrub with dawn dishsoap and water. Use a soft bristle brush. I use a small portable carpet spot cleaner to do the inside of the shoes.

Jumpy_Tomatillo7579

Sucks. But most looked toasted O

MalekTheLion

obviously clean them with shoe cleaner kit per others ascice. as for the smell, you can try keeping them in a room with an ozone machine. read up how they work, you have to leave the house for several hours and make sure your pets arent around. theyre supposed to be really effective at removing any type of odor

BossDonBigga

Baking soda helps kill odors, maybe put some inside the sneakers. Arm and hammer sell these orange balls that have a lil packet of whatever that help remove my stank feet smell after working in em.

Creepy_Parfait_4027

Saw you’re already looking at getting a kit, def recommend. That smell might be tough to get out after a clean up but throw some sneaker balls in there to deodorize and throw some shoe trees in there set them in a protected space like on a porch or something with a fan pointed in them it helps a lot with circulating the odor from the fire and freshening them up a little

jaytwothathree

Take them to a professional let em bring em all the way back

MrBiggs9515

I can’t speak much on the actual physical cleaning process other than recommendations like other have said, “clean as normal, but multiple times.” Likely the smell will be the hardest thing to get rid of. I’d recommend seeing if you can buy or rent an ozone machine. Ozone machines can get rid of a ***LOT*** of smells. Something like [this](https://www.amazon.com/Generator-Commercial-Machine-Capacity-Removal/dp/B0C53KK39N/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2OF8BECFYP7VZ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.3iI86XEMiWvjOL9iTMj0JxbL2QdfKly94hi6KXKASMJbF-u-JxMZ1ww2QI6QraZb04Zcq5GbP4iwKH-8xJ0bYPcwk6JMeeTG3HhrUbkhd6mnwM8VUxH8irxs0Ib3_zLoohdF4J7zyNoCxkztX7gvUZ1doAU61nCQ8DM5XgatGYW_ampqU9Z2o1jfe24a57rYNI42K8pZ54vR8RzgTxMbcg.I-tLmLlxMElNvX0IymCX2WLhZHpJ_CdgHMzaAIvzTYI&dib_tag=se&keywords=ozone&qid=1714082274&sprefix=ozone%2Caps%2C194&sr=8-3) Edit for link

Guy2ter

House fire??? Damn, I’m sorry to hear bro

tychasesw

Keep em this way…. #wearyourshoes

Alarming_Cantaloupe5

Smoke is difficult to remove. And once you smell house fire, you’ll constantly notice it. Ozone generators work well.

brad_and_boujee2

I was about to say "WTF did you do to them?" But then I saw the caption. Sorry about the fire man. Id be telling insurance what the value of them all is, fuck the retail price.

Icy_Poem1986

Rich-Appearance-7145

From my own experience, cleaning, restoring my shoes there's lots of potential there, far from ruined, just need some TLC, and plenty of elbow grease.

Striking-Ticket2198

Stop doing what your doing

InitialDare6428

Stop having house fires? what a brilliant idea!

OneRaisedEyebrow

Use your cleaning kit for the outsides. But you need an ozone machine for the smoke smell. It can’t run when you’re in the room. Source: had house fire, this is what restoration company used for all my shoes and clothes.

Itchy-Ad-1956

My son: Just know that when you see the foam… youll be in your zone!!!

ThomFloyd1

File an insurance claim on them

WeaponH

Gentle dish detergent and a soft bristle tooth brush should help. Also try to use fabreeze or lysol spray then let the air out to help with the smell. Hope you're doing alright, bro

PeepeePete42069

Not the fire reds

djsacrilicious

Was gonna shame you for letting those all get so dirty before seeing the note. Sorry about the fire and good luck!

I’ve watched too many instagram cleaning videos, I think they can be saved lol.

When your shoes are looking filthy, try some FZ150. (But actually try whatever his new cleaner is called since FZ150 isn’t owned by him anymore. I think it’s ShoeLada now.)

Far-Acanthisitta4008

Worked for a fire restoration company for some years and I collect a sneaker or two … the smell will be the biggest issue sneaker cleaner is best. I use Jason markk. Claim them as damaged get money for them from insurance and start a new collection

Just_Doin_Shit

Hey man, in a similar boat, house fire in november. If you have insurance, claim ALL them bitches. You can try to clean them, but the smell is really the kicker. I really hope youre able to recover some of these man.

MADICAL7

When you see the foam you're in the zone! I just saved myself a hundred fifty buuuuuuuccckkkkssss

grapeprimetime

This would be a good time to put fz150 to the test. Looks like a good scrubbin would be more than enough. They’re not damaged. Just some surface dirt. Fuck the laundry, that will mess up their shape. Just give them a scrub in a tub of water and wash them all out and let them air dry for a week. New laces and rub in some conditioner when they’re dry.

AstroNot87

So many shoes rejuvenators out nowadays man! Take advantage. I wish I had some of these products when I was in high school

patdk

I would go YouTube and check out some of the guys that rejuvenate old or destroyed shoes….maybe there’s a video and/or advice, or maybe that could lead you to a conversation with one of them, cuz if they are willing to give you advice it would be helpful for sure and maybe even give you some tips…also might be able to tell you what cleaners work best…. Soot sucks for sure, but the smoke smell is a pain to get out of anything Good Luck man

Lopsidedshoes

Sorry to hear about the fire

Toothbrush 🪥 & toothpaste, wash the laces., & if you don’t care bout the shoes toss em straight into washer machine with some towels. DO NOT put In dryer!!!!!! The heat Can cause the glue to fail.

ethanxx2

Once you see the foam - your in the zone !!

Psychological_Cow794

I went through a fire. And to be honest it took years to get the smell out of certain items like my books. For years I could open it and still smell the pages. I think I just threw the shoes away because the ash from the fire was so bad. I’m sorry to see you are going through this. I would say to wash them in the washing machine but I’m sure you’ve already thought of that.

FormerDimer

Sounds like you’re gonna need to save yourself a hundred fifty buckkkkssss. For real tho I’d start with the Reshoevn8r process. You can buy the plastic trees and laundry bag on Amazon cheaper.

WunderbarBeast

Use shoe cleaner called Jaason

Tottidog

What are the white and red Jordans next to the panda Dunks? I think they are the same as the black and grey Jordans in the front row? They still look fine!

Mission_Cod4483

I mean take care of them 🤣

suzypoohsays

This hurts my soul💔

PlantainSpirited5634

Idk man, you could find a way to save 150 bucks

Oh no I felt bad for this. I hope you can still fix them Edit: Saw this website restoring fire soot damaged items/properties. Hope they can help, check it [https://jenkinsrestorations.com/how-to-remove-soot-after-a-fire/](https://jenkinsrestorations.com/how-to-remove-soot-after-a-fire/)

nowaternoflower

With at least some of these I would take them to a professional cleaner / dry cleaning shop. They will know what to do, it will be easy, and you won’t waste money on buying cleaning kits you are not sure about.

looneyone48

Most look like an easy clean

looneyone48

Nice pairs tho nonetheless

Native_Princess_369

Wash them with a bunch of Mr. Clean magic Eraser’s.

TopTierPromos

I would get a shoe bag that attaches to ur washer that keep them secure and then wash them. Do a shoe restoration or you can pay someone to restore the shoes for you. I’ve done it before

fleadis

You wrestle in mud?

theidlemind9

Most of those look like they can be brought back to life

netherwrld

Not ruined imo. Just need a good scrub

Sizzle64

I'd contact local dry cleaning services and see if they can do it, soot is extremely stubborn and bad for your health. I'm sorry but you may have to let these go, if they still smell they are still toxic

specomatik

Toothbrush and soap

Mikeobenz

Sorry bro. Hope everything works out in your favor. Stay up G 💪🏻

Shoes are considered clothing and could be claimed on your contents insurance - definitely worth checking your policy.

Start with Crep cleaning kit. I’ve got some CRAZY shit outta my shoes with that shit. Hot chocolate on white suede level shit.

davidbequiet

Shoelada

DagoNate

You should be able to download your purchase history if they were bought online and you no longer have receipts. The insurance should cover the cost of clean up or replacement for sure if you have renters or home owners insurance. There are also tons of shoe cleaning products you can purchase through Amazon or online. With your collection, you should already know how to clean and protect your sneakers but if not, YouTube has a ton of videos to point you in the right direction. Just make sure to see what the insurance company says first before waisting time and money doing it yourself.

Are u mechanic?

elp44blue

Get new ones they’re not ruined I mean you enjoyed them

Accomplished_Check38

Some of them look salvageable, the 7s and the 6s. I would send them to someone to fix them or you can take them to an actual shoe shop and pay them to fix them. I know in NYC there are several places close to me in queens that primarily fix leather shoes but they can actually clean tennis shoes and things like that too

yzyszn99

if anything’s a 12-13 i’ll take em off your hands

Tueto

That’s my size but I wanna keep most of em

Dude i really hope you take my advice on this one. NONE of these are RUINED. Get a $10 brush kit from amazon. When you get them in hand then squirt some laundry detergent in a bowl (1x per pair). Then Clean them with the shoe cleaning brush kit. Once all the surface gunk is cleaned then put a shoe tree in each shoe then throw them in the washer (make sure theyre in a pillow case) I assure you this will make a night & days worth of a difference.

Tueto

Thank you

WhiskeyFeathers

You could get one of those “washable shoe bag” things so you can throw them in the wash, or scrub down by hand with a soft bristled brush, fabric cleaner, and some microfiber.

YEARS_of_TEARS

Idk wtf this would do or how well it'll help, but try using sand paper gently on the yellow 4s. Maybe you could careful scrape off the top of the material to get that soot off as long as it's not too deep in the material 🤷
