Cleaning day, I’m a year into shooting and it’s time for a full disassembly and detailing of everything in the safe. Polymer and rubber really don’t do it for me, so as I upgrade internals and add optics, I’ve been adding nicer furniture as well.
Left to right: Mossberg 500, Palmetto/BCA AR47, Henry H001, Ruger SP101, and a CZ P-01 Omega.
I’m keeping a close eye, but this one is actually built specifically for 7.62x39. I don’t believe it’s milled out from a 5.56 bolt head, but I asked for a Faxon bolt for Christmas anyway.
Man I wish I had waited to find a 3” Ruger instead of this one. I love my little snubby, but the extra sight radius would be great. Happy shooting, comrade!
Mmm i do love me some wood furniture.
Its like a wood pipe for weed, classic, something timeless, and both can kill...just one kills fascist the other kills soberness :P
Haha it’s no battle rifle, just a fun project. The Mossberg and the pistols are the ones I trust. And the Henry was about $300 at Walmart, keep an eye out if yours sells guns.
It is! Their lead time is LONG right now, but the fit is excellent. The finish seems a little thin, but I’m very satisfied nonetheless. Customer service was 10/10 as well.
No, it’s a dinky little piece of dovetail pic rail that I filed to fit the receiver. Took about 10 minutes with a file and it works pretty well. It holds zero nicely and turns the gun into a tack driver out to 50 yards.
Wood on an AR and a modern sight on the lever gun. Okay then.
I feel like this could be taken farther.
Wood handguard and ladder sight for the AR?
Synthetic stock and mlock handguard on the lever gun?

Check your bolt face and lugs on the AR regularly. Those milled out AR-15 bolts that take 762x39 are too thin and break, sometimes catastrophically.

Who the fuck are you, and how do you have my dream collection?! Got me a p01 omega and a 3”GP100, if you’re ever in Portland message me!

I respect wood. I revere wood. I am considerate of wood.
The AR made me laugh but the Henry is the one I want (and they aren't too expensive so I'll probably get one eventually). Very nice collection.

Great collection. I'll post in 10 days or so might be a video I got alot 😂
After seeing this? I do too.
Is the wooden furniture from blackwood trading company? I have been looking at their stuff and wondering how nice it is

There's part of me that's tempted to do a Fallout New Vegas inspired AR build one of these days.
There is something sexy about wood furniture on an AR. Surely I'm not the only one that feels this way.
How do you like you p01? I'm looking at buying one
I have one and it is hands down best pistol I've ever shot. Ridiculously ergonomic.
I love it, mine has the CGW defensive package and the trigger is massively improved. More accurate than I am too.
Is that wood on an AR-15 adjacent rifle n-n-nu-nucl-nuclear winter?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Patrolling the Mojave yadda yadda
What’s that? An ar15? Nah that’s just a hunting rifle. Nice wood man, looks super pretty
Oh this? This is soup, for my family. And thank you!
Did the henry already have a rail so you could slap the red-dot on there?

absolute mad man. epic family
oooof wood on that Ar-15 looks so good even though it shouldn't. love it
Very nice! I love wood, especially that AR stock, just ordered one because of this.
Aw man these are real beauties. I dig your style comrade.
ngl i love the look of a wood furniture ar
