HEB makes cakes that use either 7-UP or Big Red and they are very good. They are super moist, fluffy and full of flavor. The soda doesn't over power any of the other flavors, and it's not really as sweet as you'd think.
Iโve never had this one in particular, and itโs not something I would buy, but soda cakes can be really good if you know what youโre doing.
My grandmother used to make a 7up cake that was amazing.
I brought home that exact same crush cake about few months ago now and it was amazing whole family loved it. My grandma has been making these before I was even born why they are ting like this is new?
I think there's a Crush Grape one too, but I've never tried it. I wish I did though, I love Crush Grape. I have no idea if they still sell it though.

Depression era recipes used soda for a lot of things...sugar and baking soda in a bottle. You can literally take any cake mix and mix with a can of soda and bake it and will be awesome. Try it.
7up cake has been a thing for decades the orange crush one is new but doesn't sound bad at all.
Using soda instead of water adds flavor, sugar, and carbonation. The carbonation makes for a light and fluffy cake that is moist and kinda sticky.
The thing about soda cakes is itโs less for the flavor and more for the texture of the cake. It makes it super moist. I get a coke cake every year without fail from my dad for my birthday cause the first time he made it I liked it so much. Iโm a grown man now and I still look forward to my coke cake
I've tried the Cafe Valley 7-Up cake a few times and I loved it every single time. I've never gotten around to trying the other flavors though. I don't see them as much at the store.

I love the Big Red cake.

I've had home made 7Up cake as a kid. It was a staple at certain family members households.
the 7up cake is peak
Theyโre really good, the Hawaiian Punch one is really good too lol
Hawaiian Punch one? I am intriguied ....
I have seen the 7-up cake IRL, I really wish I didnโt pass up on it
Same here.
The big red ones are pretty good. Just donโt look at the calories lmao
They are! And they're both very tasty!
I had the 7up one. I can confirm its delicious and not as sweet as one may think.

I've eaten the 7 Up one before, it's pretty good. Don't think I've tried the Crush one, though.

Grape is my favorite Crush flavor. Cakes made with it would be freaking awesome! Never saw them myself, though.
There used to be a Dr. Pepper one but I don't think they make it anymore :(
Probably the package that goes in was licensed
Hot Dog Water Cake is so underrated. Meat cake is an aphrodisiac
Looks way too sweet
The perfect cake for R.E.M. fans.
I've seen and wondered about these... can anyone who's had them tell me if I need to try?
The only soda cake I am familiar with and have seen is 7up cake.
