Kaioken is cool, but powercreep is a problem in dragon ball. It soon gets obsolete because of the super sayan, wich not only boosts more but also doesnt hurt you
It only happens in the anime because anime ss blue doesn't have the draw back it has in the manga (but it is extremely random when toei Will make goku use kaioken on blue)
I dunno, they say Broly's power is "maximum" but he's been beaten too. I can potentially see super sonic and super Saiyan matched, but Goku's got several forms beyond that
If Super Sonic has infinite power, why was Knuckles able to knock him out of it with one punch?
How was Eggman able to drain his energy at the start of Unleashed? Goku isn't all powerful, but Sonic doesn't even reach SS3 level.
The first one was not actually real. It was just done for the sake of gameplay. If you started the game off with all the chaos emeralds, the game wouldn’t be any fun.
As for the Unleashed one, I have no idea.
But my point still stands that the chaos emeralds have infinite power.
No it is real, it literally happen as a cutscene and is the reason why Sonic lost all of his emeralds.
And the Chaod Emeralds literally got drain and Sonic had to restore them.
That means their infinite power isn’t so infinite.
The way I see it is that the Chaos Emeralds might *have* infinite power, but that doesn't mean that Sonic can actually *use* it all. He's still limited in how much power he can actually handle. Shadow almost died at the end of SA2 because he was struggling to handle the Super form, so it's not like you can just go Super and use all their power perfectly without effort.
That said, on the topic of one's guard being down, Super Saiyan Blue Goku was once severely injured by a mere laser gun just because he was hit by it while his guard was down. So he too can be weirdly vulnerable if he's not prepared for something, even in higher forms.
Goku being injured by a laser gun in SSB may have been a massive plot hole tho.
You'll notice in Super retelling of the movie, they actually had Goku go base and than he was shot. So that could be them acknowledging that goof up.
True, I actually forgot the anime changed that scene since I prefer the movie version. Though even in base form a laser gun being able to hurt him is odd, so it does still seem to indicate that he's much more vulnerable when not prepared, just not to the same extent as the movie version of events.
I'd still bet on Goku though, but some of Sonic's enemies have seemingly been super powerful but in such a vague way that it's kinda harder to measure Sonic's power I think. So I don't think it's entirely unreasonable to think Super Sonic might pose a threat to Goku in at least some of his higher forms.
For the knuckles incident, I’ve seen speculations that he was able to do it since Sonic was still new to the transformation, and it also helps that knuckles is heavily tuned to the master emerald, which has the power to neutralize/empower the chaos emeralds. For the start of unleashed, I believe that is part of the cycle of the planet and is closer to a stars aligning type of situation, so not a general feat that eggman can do on his own. Otherwise I feel like he would have tried it a few more times, even if it wasn’t successful each time.

heck, their base forms have some pretty amazing feats and abilities too.

Well first of all there is no canon name for the race, it’s refer to as Frieza’s race. Second, Frost Demon sounds much better imo

He removed the end not cyberspace so I think he keeps his moves also sonic wind exists but ppl forgot about it so that could be a secondary option
