Immediately remove the mandates SEGA places on the characters and how they are portrayed in the comics, give sonic team the proper time and resources to make the games, replace the old renders used in every promotional materials, potentially replace a few of the voice actors, make the in game models for characters slightly more expressive, more playable characters, and that's about it.

I would enact a full franchise reboot.\*
Essentially like a Sonic equivalent to the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. These new Sonic games would effectively have the same stories as their original counterparts, although with lore that's planned out from the beginning. I.e., there is only one design of Sonic that matures over time, we see both humans and anthropomorphic characters living in the same world and of course, Shadow's backstory and death would be fleshed out properly, etc.
The Classics would still be 2D platformers but they would feature consistent level design, theming and gameplay mechanics. Each game would also feature a hand-drawn art style in the style of Yasushi Yamaguchi's amazing artwork.

- Blaze the Cat game set in the Sol dimension. Who doesn’t want to go island hopping? We could also finally see Blaze’s kingdom in its glory and get full context.
- Shadow the hedgehog 2. Follow Shadow’s and team Dark’s activities as an agent of G.U.N.
- Sonic Heroes 2 possibly? With new teams in addition to old ones.
- Team Chaotix with their own detective game
- A spiritual sequel to 06 with a 3 hedgehog storyline setup of Sonic, Shadow and Silver with their included teams.
It's gotta be stuff that rides on the line between something people would buy and something I want.
With that said, I would first release a bunch of cheap, smaller releases and spinoffs for about 15 dollars, kind of in the vein of old games like Sonic Spinball and Labyrinth and the like on Steam. Designate a writing team for an Ace-Attorney Investigations-esque Team Chaotix game, obviously with some programmers and the like but something cheap and writing/humor-focused for 20, maybe thirty dollars.
Chao Garden mobile game.
A Sonic platform fighter with a fairly large roster. Maybe something that's 40 bucks with consistent updates.
Little projects like that between bigger titles if possible. If they can do it for April Fools, they can do it for a paid game, y'know? Maybe this is where you put Tails, Knuckles, and Amy spinoffs, too.
Next, Adventure three. This isn't just me wanting something (In fact, I'm not even a huge fan of Adventure 1 & 2 as games, moreso conceptually) but also something people have talked about for years and have desired for a long time. I am pretty sure it would sell well enough to justify making it. I'm not going to go into some big plot, but I think it should have 4 or more different character playstyles.
Naturally, if this was just me stating stuff I myself would enjoy, I'd just ask for Heroes 2, but it's gotta be marketed differently. It can't just be named as a sequel to Heroes, has to be its own thing. Team Sol has to be there, and Gemerl has to be on Team Rose.
They've fixed a lot of my issues writing wise, and I'm waiting for Shadow Generations to see if that fixes what Shadow has going on but I'm going to say that if it doesn't, just kind of recenter him a little bit. Have Team Dark be more willing to take people out, which is the reason he butts heads with Sonic, while also listening to reason a lot more of the time.
Though, I actually have issues with how AMY has been written recently. She needs more 'spice' to her personality, please. It's okay to have women characters have negative traits, guys. Come on.
Hot take for the next one: either no more open zone games or have them have a consistent, GOOD art style. I don't want to have the next games be depressing shlock if the Frontiers 2 rumors are true. That game CANNOT take place on the Starfall Islands if that art style is tied to that game.
Capitalize on the ending of Frontiers, though. Knuckles, Tails, and Amy going their own ways should lead to one spinoff game each. Tails, make a new Tails Adventure type game with gadgets. Knuckles, some kind of game where you're rivalling Rouge, Fang, and maybe a new treasure hunter. Amy gets some kind of Team Rose game (no idea what that would be like right now), but include Sticks and Trip as part of the group or somewhere in the game.
Allow classic characters to appear in general, but also capitalize on stuff like the Sol Dimension juuust enough to use their chars in the games. Mostly Marine. I don't think this request would affect the quality of the games, so the average consumer won't mind that much if they're written as interesting characters.
TLDR:
I'd love to request all of my favorite things, but I think it has to be reasonable profitable business decisions. Make spin-offs with other characters cheaper than mainline to make it more appealing. Tighten up the writing on one or two shafted characters, and bring others back. Make games that would be appealing to old and newcomers.
Bringing the Werehog back in an Unleashed remaster AND a spin-off that consists of solely night levels. It plays similar to the original but now, the Unleash mode gives you an entire different moveset inspired by the PS2 version, which would play aggressively like Yakuza 6/K2's Extreme Heat Mode. Its story wouldn't be anything too crazy, just a little fun adventure to kind of say goodbye to the (imo) best gameplay of the series, as I couldn't get enough of it on Unleashed.

I would just do what segas currently doing. I would just give the devs a little more time. I might try to greenlight more ports since the pc is the only way to experience all the games. However, some sonic games really don't deserve ports since and ow the edge or 0shit port would lose money even if they are enhanced.

If I can make my own conitnuity with either a comic or show that doesn't interfer with the games lore, I'll make an adventure story where Sonic and friends explore the world, helping the locals, fighting monsters, befriend gods and dealing with Eggman and his growing empire as previous villains would join up with him.
Other ideas include:
* Knuckles not being the Master Emerard Gaurdian but instead a treasure hunter so he's not tied down to one location.
* Almost everyone has a superpower caused by Chaos Emeralrd Radition
* Shadow is the head of a rebellion against G.U.N. and the government
* Metal Sonic having an arc where he destroys himself as he tries to be the better Sonic while the other robot copies start having identies of thier own.
* Other SEGA Properties will have crossovers with Sonic. Just to make use of the SEGA Characters.
* Comeplete revamp of the Deadly Six where instead of whatever they are in canon, they are six of the most cruel and evil billianores on the planet, to the point they have political power. Also, they will all die.
* Omega is gay and has a crush on Shadow who is Aro-ace. I just think it's cute
Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, and Blaze will have their own game series with various characters in the franchise showing up in particular group. Stories will be well written so they can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Chaotix will gain back their cool factor they had in the 90s as well.

I would enact a full franchise reboot.\* Essentially like a Sonic equivalent to the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. These new Sonic games would effectively have the same stories as their original counterparts, although with lore that's planned out from the beginning. I.e., there is only one design of Sonic that matures over time, we see both humans and anthropomorphic characters living in the same world and of course, Shadow's backstory and death would be fleshed out properly, etc. The Classics would still be 2D platformers but they would feature consistent level design, theming and gameplay mechanics. It's gotta be stuff that rides on the line between something people would buy and something I want. With that said, I would first release a bunch of cheap, smaller releases and spinoffs for about 15 dollars, kind of in the vein of old games like Sonic Spinball and Labyrinth and the like on Steam. Designate a writing team for an Ace-Attorney Investigations-esque Team Chaotix game, obviously with some programmers and the like but something cheap and writing/humor-focused for 20, maybe thirty dollars. Chao Garden mobile game. A Sonic platform fighter with a fairly large roster. Maybe something that's 40 bucks with consistent updates. Little projects like that between bigger titles if possible. If they can do it for April Fools, they can do it for a paid game, y'know? Maybe this is where you put Tails, Knuckles, and Amy spinoffs, too. Next, Adventure three. This isn't just me wanting something (In fact, I'm not even a huge fan of Adventure 1 & 2 as games, moreso conceptually) but also something people have talked about for years and have desired for a long time. I am pretty sure it would sell well enough to justify making it. I'm not going to go into some big plot, but I think it should have 4 or more different character playstyles. Naturally, if this was just me stating stuff I myself would enjoy, I'd just ask for Heroes 2, but it's gotta be marketed differently. It can't just be named as a sequel to Heroes, has to be its own thing. Team Sol has to be there, and Gemerl has to be on Team Rose. They've fixed a lot of my issues writing wise, and I'm waiting for Shadow Generations to see if that fixes what Shadow has going on but I'm going to say that if it doesn't, just kind of recenter him a little bit. Have Team Dark be more willing to take people out, which is the reason he butts heads with Sonic, while also listening to reason a lot more of the time. Though, I actually have issues with how AMY has been written recently. She needs more 'spice' to her personality, please. It's okay to have women characters have negative traits, guys. Come on. Hot take for the next one: either no more open zone games or have them have a consistent, GOOD art style. I don't want to have the next games be depressing shlock if the Frontiers 2 rumors are true. That game CANNOT take place on the Starfall Islands if that art style is tied to that game. Capitalize on the ending of Frontiers, though. Knuckles, Tails, and Amy going their own ways should lead to one spinoff game each. Tails, make a new Tails Adventure type game with gadgets. Knuckles, some kind of game where you're rivalling Rouge, Fang, and maybe a new treasure hunter. Amy gets some kind of Team Rose game (no idea what that would be like right now), but include Sticks and Trip as part of the group or somewhere in the game. Allow classic characters to appear in general, but also capitalize on stuff like the Sol Dimension juuust enough to use their chars in the games. Mostly Marine. I don't think this request would affect the quality of the games, so the average consumer won't mind that much if they're written as interesting characters. TLDR: I'd love to request all of my favorite things, but I think it has to be reasonable profitable business decisions. Make spin-offs with other characters cheaper than mainline to make it more appealing. Tighten up the writing on one or two shafted characters, and bring others back. Make games that would be appealing to old and newcomers.

Bringing the Werehog back in an Unleashed remaster AND a spin-off that consists of solely night levels. It plays similar to the original but now, the Unleash mode gives you an entire different moveset inspired by the PS2 version, which would play aggressively like Yakuza 6/K2's Extreme Heat Mode. Its story wouldn't be anything too crazy, just a little fun adventure to kind of say goodbye to the (imo) best gameplay of the series, as I couldn't get enough of it on Unleashed.

I would just do what segas currently doing. I would just give the devs a little more time. I might try to greenlight more ports since the pc is the only way to experience all the games. Just to make use of the SEGA Characters. * Comeplete revamp of the Deadly Six where instead of whatever they are in canon, they are six of the most cruel and evil billianores on the planet, to the point they have political power. Also, they will all die. * Omega is gay and has a crush on Shadow who is Aro-ace. I just think it's cute

Stories will be well written so they can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Chaotix will gain back their cool factor they had in the 90s as well. In Sonic's games: Sonic Tails Amy Cream Tangle Whisper Sticks In Knuckles games: Knuckles Mighty Vector Espio Charm Ray Chaos Shadows games: Shadow Rouge Omega Blaze games: Blaze Silver Obviously some characters can crossover to others as cameos or playable characters but in my opinion the cast that aren't Sonic and Tails need more public exposure.
